I purchased this DeerRun walking pad in July 2024. It arrived on time and was easy to set up. I have been using it daily with my standing desk while working. It is easy to move using the front wheels to roll it in place. I agree with many reviews that say the sound for turning on and changing the speed is very loud and I have seen no way to turn the volume down. The remote to change speeds is easy to use. It's nice to have the speed, time and distance metrics on the front of the machine. Maintenance for the walking pad is easy with the manual instructions and tools provided. I recently had a problem with my machine. I contacted customer support via email. They were quick to respond, easy to work with, and are addressing the problem. This is one the reasons I purchased this walking pad over others: the reviews on their responsive and helpful customer support.     • Great walking pad plus a few tips

I ordered the walking pad with the handlebar, and I’m pleased so far. I bought a similar model from the same brand that was used, so I was aware of common complaints such as the short track and the beeping. I liked it well enough for work to buy another one for home. I can comfortably adjust my gait to the track. To address the beep, I found a YouTube video showing how to remove the piece that makes the sound using a soldering iron. I’ve only done this on the older, used walking pad but it worked perfectly. The unit is lightweight and easy to move. I did not have to sign up for the app and create an account to use it, but I wasn’t able to start it right out of the box. The remote must be unlocked, but this isn’t in the manual. I Googled the model number and “won’t start the first time” and found instructions to unlock the remote. It took less than 30 seconds. My only real complaint at this time is that the pictures show the handlebar folds flat down parallel with the track, and I haven’t seen an easy way to do this since it’s screwed on in two places on each side. I would have to remove and replace a screw each time I wanted to fold and unfold. This feature was really important to me but the positives outweigh it. The incline also appears to be all or nothing with no adjustable incline option. Generally, this seems to be a great deal for the money, especially if you can catch it on sale. ... show more

    • Just what I wanted
I am very happy with this purchase! It's quiet, doesn't take up much room, & is easily moveable. It's easy to use, just get it out of the box & it's ready to go. I don't use the app, so I can't comment on that. My friend ordered one & received it defective & had to send it back. So I guess you take your chances.     • Minor annoyances but would buy again
I'll start with the minor annoyances as I'm sure that's what people are looking for... The first one being the belt length. I am 5'8" and don't consider myself to have a super long step in my gait but when I walk faster and take longer steps, sometimes my toe brushes the electrical panel or I feel my foot on the back roller, which I don't experience on full sized treadmills. Minor issue, but worth pointing out if you have a longer step. My second complaint would be that there is no way to pause your workout. If you stop your workout for any reason, the panel resets your numbers (calories, distance, time, etc). This is minor for me as I use a fitness watch, but pointing out in case it matters to you. I did have some minor troubles with the belt alignment initially. I followed the instructions and centered the belt with the tool provided, but each time I walked on it, it would shift a bit to my left. As soon as I was off of it and let it run it would return to center. I resolved this by making it's initial position slightly to the right. Problem solved. My last complaint is that I have not found a way to turn off the beeping. When you initially turn it on it emits three load series of beeps and each time you press a button on the remote it beats. I understand part of this might be a safety feature as you want people to know when their speed is changing, but it's undesirable when you get up very early to workout and don't want to wake anyone. What I love about it... It's really easy to store and move. Its quiet. It is stable and provides a smooth walking surface like a treadmill. The display has large numbers and is easily read. It's goes up to 3.8 which is more than fast enough for my morning walk, with room to go faster if I want. It is worth the price (and I even scored it on a lightning deal which was even better). I would definitely buy this again, even with the minor complaints I have. ... show more
