I bought this Deepower e-bike for my son and we've been very impressed. When the bike arrived, it was missing a rubber grommet on the rear tire assembly. I contacted Deepower, sent them a few pictures of the issue, and they went above and beyond to make it right. They quickly shipped the replacement parts, refunded me $20 for the inconvenience, and even sent me a step-by-step video showing exactly how to install the part. That's the kind of customer service you don't see very often anymore. As for the bike itself, it's fantastic. It has plenty of power, reaches 30 mph with no problem, feels stable at speed, and is built much better than I expected for the price. It doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. It honestly seems like a bike that's going to last for years. Between the quality of the bike and the outstanding customer support, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Deepower again. I really wanted to love this bike because it looks great, arrived well-packaged, and the assembly was straightforward. Unfortunately, I haven’t even been able to ride it. After assembling the bike, it powered on normally, the display and lights worked, and everything appeared to be functioning correctly. However, the moment I used the throttle, the entire bike shut off. I spent several hours troubleshooting before deciding it was a defective component. Here’s everything I tried: * Confirmed the battery was fully seated and locked. * Charged the battery according to the instructions. * Checked and reconnected the motor connector. * Verified all visible wiring connections. * Confirmed the display and lights worked normally. * Tested the battery on and off the bike. At this point, the battery only flashes a yellow light repeatedly and won’t operate normally, while the charger stays green and won’t charge it. Based on the troubleshooting, I believe the battery or its internal battery management system (BMS) is defective. I’m leaving this review now because I think it’s important for other buyers to know my experience. That said, I’ve also seen many reviews saying DEEPOWER’s customer service is responsive and stands behind their products. I’m reaching out to them for warranty support and will gladly update this review if they resolve the issue quickly with a replacement or repair. I’m hopeful this was simply a defective battery and not representative of the product as a whole. I’ll update once I hear back from customer support. ... show more

Great bike once you change all the settings and unplug that cable under the seat it will go 32mph. Not sure how good the range is because all my commutes aren’t that far but so far I really like the bike. Only issue I have is the headlight sucks so you need to buy a different headlight and the disk for the brake is all bent up and was like that right out of the box so look out for that. Overall for the price you can’t beat what you get. Btw I got the 20amp battery and it works great for the speed and everything for all my commutes I’ve only used a quarter of the battery going about 6miles. Almost forgot. It will say mph on the screen but it’s actually in kmh and I don’t think you can change it. So the fastest I’ve gotten it is 55kmh which is about 32mph. ... show more

I've struggled to know what to say on this. My kid loves it and has put some miles/kilometers on it. Pros: Good price. Good frame. Simple design. Cons: cheap components. Won't convert to miles. I've had to re-solder connections. The pedals won't stay tight. Brakes are difficult to adjust because of the cheap rotors that came bent. If you know how to repair and maintain a bike, probably not a bad investment. If you want a care free bike... spend more upfront. ... show more

Powerful E-bike that can absolutely get you from point A-B. The bike itself is heavy and durable meaning that it gives you a nice amount of control however at the sacrifice of agility, so don’t expect to ride this like a regular bicycle, but more like an actual moped. Speed wise, it will max out at 15MPH, however once you unplug the 2 white wires under the seat, that will remove the limiter allowing the bike reach up to 35MPH, this varies with the rider however as the MPH can drop based on your weight, I’m around 150lbs so the max speed I’ve reached was about 32MPH Assembly is easy as all you have to do is attach and install the Handle Bar, Front Tire, Front Fender, Headlight and Turn Indicators, and of course attach the battery. There’s no assembly manual but thankfully there are assembly videos. As far as battery life goes it depends on how you ride, with the rider most likely using pedal assist to maximize range, however me personally I like switching between all 3 modes but note that the higher the mode the faster your battery will drain, however the battery last a pretty long while despite me utilizing the highest speed mode. Overall I love this bike and I can’t wait to take it back on the road once I make a repair on the rear tire as it got punctured while I was out riding 😭🥀 ... show more
