I really liked the look of the box, and the smaller size. When I received the box it is made very flimsy and lacks any durability. Also the box was damaged as seems to be the case with several other reviews. Do not recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Since this produce is barely available I ordered this for my husband for his Christmas gift. The tool box looks great and is the perfect size I was looking for since i didn't want to loose too much bed space by installing a full size box. My problem is with the aluminum they used to built it as its super flimsy and really easy to dent without any real pressure being put on it. Also if someone tries to forcefully open the box I'm pretty sure they could do so without much of an effort if they tried. I was able to lift much of the cover from the corner enough to see what is inside the box so security is a real concern with the box my only solution was to buy 2 locks for it (Master Lock 8413DPF Python Adjustable Locking Cable, 6-Foot x 3/8-inch) those helped a great deal at making it more secure and harder to open. Overall there are better boxes out there so you might want to consider going with another one, but for me since i didn't want to loose much bed space by putting a full size box this was my only choice as there's not a lot of options out there for half boxes. ... show more

I had a couple issues to work out however the company really took care of me thru the whole process. I miss customer service where they make you feel like someone cares, but I found it with these guys. Not sure if I’ll ever need another product from them, but I am highly satisfied with their customer service. Great job in going the extra mile!! :-D As far as the box, it’s a little lighter weight than the ole truck boxes when I was in high school but it’ll do. I will say the black looks really sharp and provides a lot of great storage without taking up too much room in my 6’6” bed. If your on the fence about getting one just go for it. You’ll be getting a good box from a company who seams to really take care of its customers. ... show more

Overall 3.5 stars. Like all the other reviews, it is thin guage, flimsy. It's not .090" thick wall as advertised, it's around .056". However I intend to use this for light duty, holds my straps, basic tools and bottle Jack, jumper cables etc. Not recommended for heavy duty use. I recommend adjusting the locks, it helped give a better "solid close". Overall if you're on a budget and just need extra storage space, this is it. This toolbox is not for "on the job working box", it wont last. Overall I give it 3.5 stars, it arrived with several small dents and well it's just flimsy. If someone wanted to break into it, a crowbar is all they needed, or maybe just bare hands & determination. I dont recommend using this box to lock up expensive items, well I wouldn't trust it. What sold me was the price and the dimensions, I like the slim design, other manufacturers didn't have the dimensions I wanted for the price I was willing to pay. ... show more
