This is a Chinese product and and the instructions are completely wrong. The product was overpriced. You can find a kit like this a lot cheaper online. I would recommend finding a YouTube video to install this product because the instructions with leave you frustrated.

    • Horrible instructions, incorrect information, pricey with less features UPDATED
The listings says "10 months and up" but the instruction manual says 8 years and up. The installation instructions are useless and DO NOT take you through all the steps.... I tried for over an hour to figure it out but could not. My kids are younger than 8 anyway so I gave up. I looked at other listings to see if they provided instructions and discovered many are half the price but they add safety features such as a harness, this one does not. Because I haven't been able to actually use it, I'm generously giving it a 2 star instead of 1. You will need to find other directions to assemble, and it's more expensive with less features. Might work okay though, can't say. UPDATE: Well, we looked online for a video and figured out how everything attaches. It's really not very easy to get it all together and tight. It's suggested to use a come by? to get it tight. My husband and I were able to assemble it but it sagged too low for anyone to use. The rope is also way way too long... I had to tie my own knot in it to make it shorter. The next day we tightened it again and it's almost snug enough. Problem is if you get it higher in the tree then you can't get on it, much less the kids. But if it's the right height then it sags when it hits the middle. The end result, the 5 year old CAN ride it but he almost hits the seat to the ground in the middle and has to keep his legs straight out to avoid this. I assume the other two (ages 2 and almost 4) could ride it "better" as they weigh less but I don't know that it would be safe as they probably won't stick their legs straight out. We are going to see if one of our friends has a come by or some other way to tighten the cord more without raising it up. ... show more

    • A figure-it-out yourself installation
This is a zip line kit for active kids. The kit includes 100’ of steel zip line, a swing seat, a trolley with hand brakes, spring stops, and necessary hardware for installation, as well as a paper instruction manual. The manual includes pointers on designing a zipline course as well as how to set up the line and equipment. The zipline has a maximum rider weight of 250 lbs. It was made in China. I expected this kit would be easy to install, since all the necessary parts are in the box. But they skimped on the most important part, the installation instructions. The manual contains lots of safety hints and suggestions about setting up different lengths of courses, but no hints about how you could actually shorten the steel cord. Instructions for installing the U-clamps are interesting, “Have your helping friends use their brooms to lift and support the trolley and cable while you perform the installation.” Hmm…so I need to get my witch friends to come over with their brooms to help? For long courses, you will probably need to start kids off from a platform due to expected sagging in the line. Wow—that can add a dimension of danger to the adventure. Eventually I figured out how to get the zip line up by searching for other instructions. Still, the start is a bit high off the ground, and I’m not sure if it’s wise to let the kids at it.
