Well, the reviews were right! I don’t know if that means I would have done anything differently, it just means it was tough. Assembly was close to 4 hrs working mainly by myself. The instructions were clear(ish) and a couple times they told me to pay close attention and I still did it wrong. At one point I had to drill a whole they insisted was there, but wasn’t, and put a self tapping screw there just so that brace piece would stay in place from both sides and not just one. So one reviewer said you had to get creative, and I did! I have build several of these things over the years and the quality is pretty good and seems sturdy and stable. I chose not to anchor it to the wall, but I think we’ll be fine. Lights are cool, we’ll see how long they last. For those considering buying this bed, when it says piece one here or piece two there - pay attention!! A lot of times bracing or end pieces are identical and it doesn’t really matter, well it did on this one. Thankfully, I caught it on page 2-3, but I still made other mistakes later on and had to back up. Last thing I’ll point out is that your bolt/screw selection is like the Wild, Wild West!! Holy moly that kicked My butt in the beginning and I’m not at all certain I put the right bolts in the right spots. The problem was that the bolts came in a decent enough package and it was clearly marked. I should have taken a picture of everything, prior to opening, in its place and clearly marked. I did not. So when I opened the packaging it tore away all the labels leaving me to wonder what each bolt was. With furniture like this, the difference in various bolt sizes isn’t much and sometimes it matters. Here’s what I did… you can guesstimate which is which bolt by its size, length, and diameter. Obviously the girthy bolts won’t fit in the smaller holes and vice versa. Some of the shorter bolts don’t have enough length to get through a piece and make it to the hole. I made it work, but it took a lot of time. Working by myself wasn’t too terrible, but I did have to have my 11 yr old help hold some pieces until it finally took shape. Overall, this will be a good bed, just a pain in the butt to build. Glad I’ve done a couple of these before. Had I not, this review would have been much worse and the project wouldn’t have gotten done. Lots of spare parts left over too! 😬 I think the instructions said I’d have 2 specific bolts left, but as you can see, I had lots leftover. Despite that, it still seems sturdy. We’ll see. Haha. Good luck!! Update: seller contacted me and rectified the situation. If you pay attention, this bed is fairly easy to assemble. It’s helpful to have an extra set of hands and to read through the instructions once prior to assembly. Also, if you have enough room, lay the pieces out ahead of time. That’ll help too. It’s been a few weeks and my son is loving the bed. It’s sturdy and holding up. We love the lights underneath in the desk area. They work great and he loves it!!

Comes shipped in 2 boxes. We got one box first and the other two days later. Doesn’t say anywhere it’s two boxes. Everything worked out. Takes awhile to put together but definitely worth it. Nice and sturdy

This loft bed is the wonderful and great for the space.My kids loves it and I am really happy with the quality. The metal frame is strong and doesn’t wobble at all.The assembly took some time but all the parts were complete and organized.The six fabric drawers is very useful for organizing things.The top safety rails add good protection and the height is also perfect not too high ,not too low.ladder is very comfortable for climb.The study area is also perfect for my boy .Overall I am impressed with this purchase .It is great value and worth it for the money. Highly recommended it for anyone who is looking for this type of loft bed.

The instruction for this bed were virtually impossible to follow. We got to the end of them and realized a piece was backwards and had to take the entire bed apart to fix it. Nothing is labeled properly and you just have to do your best guess work based on the pictures. HORRIBLE experience. Thankfully no parts were missing or that would have been the hair that broke the camels back...my husband was already set to ship it back to China! Once it was built it seems quite sturdy and solid. We did attach it to the wall. The drawers are very large and hold a lot, which we were pleasantly surprised about. It is very cute with the lighting and the desk is comfortable to do school work at. Overall it seems to be a decent value, maybe slightly overpriced for the inconvenience of poorly written instructions.

Cute loft bed. Better quality than I thought. Wood table top and shelf are great. Bed is stable. Drawers have white fronts and plastic handles. It’s stable enough for my daughter and I to get up there! My daughter loves the slanted ladder as well. The LEDs are a bonus (haven’t installed yet).

Got this for my 11 year olds birthday. Could have used a hand putting it together which is what the instructions clearly say. Make sure you have at least 2 sets of hands for assembly. But the finished product and the reaction from my kid made it all worth it. And the amount of space this created in his bedroom is awesome. Well worth the price point. Highly recommend.
