I was paralyzed with inaction after my mom died and for some reason could not make myself purchase an urn for her. I looked and looked and kept looking...finally I just purchased this one. I am so happy I did. It is SO beautiful and sturdy. Some things they don't tell you about urns and I was wondering about include the transferring of the ashes from the mailed box to this urn. It had a disposable funnel. It also comes with a beautiful black felt bag to put the urn in...plus, a plastic bag if you wish to line the urn before putting in the ashes. They really have thought of everything. The lid screws on and is tight, which is nice, as well. It really is a beautiful urn and would be lovely to display (it was lovely to display at her funeral), but we will be burying it by my father's urn. So, my point in all of this is, this is a lovely urn and you won't be disappointed if you purchase this. It's a REALLY hard time in life when you are buying an urn...so make your life that much easier and just buy this and that's one less thing to worry about.

I bought this for my dad's ashes. It's been 4 years and I really have been wanting to get him a better urn. This company goes above and beyond. Included is a cardboard funnel and a small plastic tarp so you don't lose any ashes. Also they have not 1 but 2 bags for the urn for storage. 1 is made like a sheet with a draw string and the other is a velvet bag with a draw string. I would give 10 stars for their consideration and product. Thank you.
