I get a lot of complements on these lanterns - they really pull the whole vintage cabin look I'm going for. Big seller for me was when my husband said you loved them (he rarely noticed when I do stuff like redecorate)

These lanterns are amazing! They’re larger than I anticipated, but look just like the pictures. They are definitely rustic and easy to mount. Screws not included, but you only need 4. The supports are light, but sturdy enough. The lanterns themselves have a nice weight. The glass is nice enough. One of mine has a bubble on the bottom resulting in my candle to be off kilter, but it’s not a big deal. Be careful, the lid gets hot. Fortunately, you don’t have to open it to blow out the candles. There’s a gap between the top of the glass, so you can extinguish the candle by simply blowing in the gap. Overall, I really love these lanterns and they fit nicely in my wide entryway. ... show more

I purchased these when I lived in the Sierra Mountains by Yosemite about a year ago and found myself quiet upset that I got something that didn't fit the description however since the purchase all I've ever had has been nothing but compliments from everyone. I purchased the Anchors which I have grown to really love and no longer regret buying them. And yes many of the other reviews here were misleading prior to my purchase. Love love love these! The Amazon photos don’t do them justice! These wall sconces are very beautiful and have an antique look to them. Great for a cabin or lake home or if you are trying to add a vintage look to your home. The color is an antique bronze finish. They are priced right, nice sturdy product, easy to hang, and not too heavy. I added flameles, flickering, remote candles to them. They are the perfect combo. ... show more

Mine came with the glass hurricane. The hurricane/candle holder is quite large. I haven't gotten a candle yet but a four inch in diameter candle should be the right fit. The metal is very thing and the sconce is very light without the hurricane. The paint on the metal was flaking off when I received it, but its cheap and I like it so I colored it in with permanent marker. I don't expect any one to notice. This is going in the bathroom and a fixture for my small rental cottage where I won't entertain often and am not investing too much in the decor as our arrangement is not permanent. If you are looking for a very nice piece for your home I would recommend finding another item. If you are looking to spruce up a rental property, vacation home or something of that nature this is very pretty and adds a lot of personality to a room. Again its a long, and large piece!
