These do work to calm frizz, BUT they tear your hair out! My daughter wanted these so we split them. I have long ,thick hair. When I first used it it tore my hair out. Ouch! I brushed my hair with a better brush, then this one. It made a difference with my hair looking a lot more silky and smooth. It is easier to use on wet hair. Just be careful using on dry hair.

This is a nice set of brushes but I didn't get four different types of brushes and combs but instead, I got two round big brushes and one small round brush. It is wide-toothed and they do brush well. Although I was hoping to get the set that was advertised and all but even though it was still good and it works well with my wet hair and dry hair. The color is a nice yellow wood brush. I like the small brush for traveling.

Wooden brushes are healthy for your hair. They distribute your natural oils evenly unlike plastic. The only thing that could’ve been better is the comb. Not very good for thick hair
