  • Junk
Piece of Chinese junk, had it for more than 3 months before using it. When I finally opened the box and plugged in 4 batteries, only three got charged

  • Works great
Speeds up the charging process by a lot being able to charge both big and small batteries at once. Small batteries take about 40 min while big ones take less than 2hrs. Batteries keep charged as expected. It lights up to ensure you’re charging and stops flashing when completed.

  • Would buy again
I'd buy this again. I love that I can charge 12 and 20v batteries at the same time. Not heaviest build but seems to be sufficient.

  • Economical Alternative to the OEM Product BUT
This is a Chinese knockoff of the OEM Dewalt DCB-104 charger. I now have both products and can make a comparison. First off, the OEM charger is significantly more expensive. The Bslite charger is less than a third of the price of the OEM product. That seemed attractive as a main selling point. Both chargers weigh about the same but they have some feature differences that are worth pointing out. I examined the Bslite charger when it arrived and determined that it appeared to be well constructed with no apparent manufacturing defects. I could see one difference was the carrying handle being foldable on the Bslite charger and molded in on the OEM model. They both recharge all the standard Dewalt batteries. The Bslite charger has the added feature of 2 USB ports for charging USB devices. The functional differences between these two chargers may have an impact on your decision to make this purchase or not. I have had a problem with battery fitment on the OEM because of the way the batteries are locked into place. Some batteries work and some are very difficult to install. It seems to be a function of how the batteries are captured by the locking mechanism. The Bslite charger has a much less complicated system of just sliding the battery into place to engage the electrical contacts. However, that being said, some of my batteries would bind in the slots so also making installation a problem. Secondly, and this one is significant, is the charging amperage. The OEM has an 8A charging rate per port but the Bslite only charges at 2A per port. That is a difference of 30 minutes versus 2 hours for a 4AH battery. The whole point of a 4 port charger is to recharge a large number of batteries all at once and get them back into service. I go through 15 5AH batteries per day on my job and I need them all recharged for the next day. If you do the math you can see the challenge here. So if speed is a consideration for recharging your Dewalt batteries. I would not recommend the Bslite charger. If speed is not an issue, then the Bslite charger will do the job for less money. ... show more

  • Counter space
The charger for my DeWalt batteries is not only a space saver on my work bench but now I have one charger for for 4 batteries and not having to plug-in 4 different electric cords. I’m know I can charge 1-4 batteries and don’t have to worry about running out of a charded battery. This charger is great for charging my batteries and works very good in a short period of time. ... show more
