I do a lot of small engine repairs including sharpening lawn mower blades. I have always used a corded grinder and decided to try a battery operated grinder. This DCA branded grinder is perfect for the job. Right out of the box I could tell by the feel of it that it was very well made. It was very easy to assemble the tooless gaurd and install the grinding wheel. It comes with a 4ah battery that lasts a long period of time before needing recharged. When I did put it on the charger it was back to fully charged in no time at all. This is the second DCA branded tool that I have purchased, the first was their 1/2 inch impact, and I am very impressed with the workmanship that went into building these battery tools.

Grinder is definitely worth the money. Works great and really easy to swith out blades. Comes with a carry case to hold it all. Battery seems to last awhile.

I really love it. One thing that I like about it is that if the disk hang up the grinder will stop. It has surprise me how much power it has. Worth the money.

I got this grinder for minor jobs like cutting and sharpening my lawnmower etc. The grinder is not the strongest out there, and is noisy as well but it works well for a one-off things at home. The grinder comes with the battery, is well packed and everything needed to get started. The carry bag is also well built and durable. I would give it 5 stars if the battery are readily available or were compatible with one of the known brands. Hopefully DCA also becomes a popular brand and resolve that gap.

I can’t speak to battery life but it’s adequately strong to cut through a hardened steel wrench I needed to shorten to fix a drive shaft. So it’s earned its place in my off-road toolkit. Nice little everything you need kit for field repair type stuff. Probably fine for a someone doing small jobs a couple times a year as well if they don’t have one already.
