This worked perfectly on my 56 Ford Thunderbird lower control arm bushings. I had to use a 1-1/16 craftsman socket on the pushing end, but the receiving end lined up perfectly using items in the kit. The drive screw seems pretty solid, I can't imagine this cracking or stripping unless you doing things incorrectly and not lined up on the bushing while pushing. ... show more

Used this to install lower ball joints on a dodge ram 1500. I didn't use it to press the old ball joints out I just pounded them out with a sledge hammer but used it to press the new joints in and it worked beautifully. I did put grease on threads to make sure it turned smoothly and didn't bind worked really well for the price ... show more
