The stools raise/lower handle snapped right away. I don’t know if this was just a fluke but for the price you pay you’d think it would be sturdier. It does glide nicely, and relatively comfortable. I sent an email to the vendor and am currently waiting for a reply ( hence the 1 star)

I have a very bad lower back. Part of my lower spine area is fused. Because of this I cannot bend over enough to see into floor level cabinets (I am 6'3"). This chair at 13 inches in height, with a comfortable seat and with wheels allows me to get into the lower cabinets. BUT, there is one problem, nothing to do with the chair itself, I cannot get up from the chair. I am 91, and with my weight and lacking knee strength, I just cannot stand up. So it is five stars for a great chair but one star for getting old. ... show more

I got my chair yesterday. It's a bit shorter than I expected, but that's no big deal. My only issue is that it was missing one of the screws used to attach the back to the seat. I think it should function without that one screw, but at the price, I expected a bit more QC on the parts included in the package. EDIT: Upon contacting the seller, they were willing to ship me the missing screw at no cost, so I'm happy! ... show more

I have a little room in my house with about a 4' ceiling that you have to either crouch or crawl to move around in. This is the shortest stool I could find and allows me to just sit and roll around instead, all very comfortably. The wheels do just fine even on carpet, too. Note that attaching the backrest is optional! Assembly is pretty simple, but pay attention becuase the holes are asymmetrical relative to center under the seat. ... show more
