Thsi burner came in heady as an extra burner while I was preparing Thanksgiving dinner. It’s a lightweight stainless steel, but sturdy. It heats up quickly, but the cool down takes about 20 - 30 minutes. Plug it in and turn the dial to your temperature of choice. Small rubber feet keeps this burner from sitting directly on your counter. Clean up is easy. Comes with a manual.

Bottom line, this is a small reasonably powerful for its size nice looking portable electric burner. Gone are the days of heater coils or using outdoor-use butane portable stoves indoors. This is a no-frills, easy to use single burner that looks as nice as it performs. It looks much more expensive than it is, and people have remarked on how simple it is to use while looking like something you'd buy from a high end kitchen brand. There is one dial which is large and easy to turn, and you simply turn it as if you were turning the dial on a regular stove. No weird punching up or down wattage numbers that feel arbitrary unless you are an electrical engineer, just turn it up to what you'd turn it on a range and you're good to go. It's also very light and portable. The burner surface measures 7", and the unit itself is 12"x9.25", and the supplied AC cord is 40" long. As for performance, I took 1/2 gallon of water from the tap at 85F and set it on maximum. After 5 minutes the water measured 127.5F, and after 10 minutes it measured 171.3F. This is already at a slight boil, the temperature that a lot of coffees and teas are best at. At 15 minutes it was a medium boil at 201F and at 16 minutes and 23 seconds it reached full rolling boil at 212F (100C). This is a great value, hands down. I have used this as a secondary burner for an event this past week where my team had to cook most of the food off site and then transport on site. While we had chafers to hold food at temp, some food needed last minute finishing and this will now be part of my regular set of transported cooking appliances. I am also planning on purchasing another dozen of these to host cooking classes as they are inexpensive and easy to use. As a product tester, I will continue to update this review if anything changes. Note to seller, chill out. Good product testers test products before reviewing, no need to push me.

This single burner heats up very quick and provides even heat. The looks is pretty stylish and very light. It has nice rubber legs/tabs that prevent it from sliding on the counter. It has a big dial that lets you adjust the heat/temperature that you can control for any types of cooking. It can be used as a warming plate too. I was looking for a camping stove for outside and this will work out just great. Highly recommend

We took this hot plate camping with us and used it to make breakfast as well as boil water for coffee. It completed these tasks nicely, although boiling water took longer than using a standard cooktop, which is understandable. The hot plate is very easy to use and clean after use. Overall, this is a great addition to our camping expeditions and I'm glad I ordered it!

We needed a hot plate for lunches at our studio and this fit the bill. The stainless surface is attractive and easy to clean. It heats up fast and puts away easy once cool. The temperature setting does not have click stops on the dial and is free rotating, which was an adjustment. We are quite happy with this little hot plate.

The media could not be loaded. This hot plate will bring a stylish look to any RV or campground setting, as well as making your cooking experience quick and easy. I like the fact that this hot plate is very versatile and you can cook with any type of material no matter what type of cookware you have. It is also a breeze to clean up, you just use a damp cloth to wipe it down. As far as cooking with the unit, it heats up quickly. I was able to use a 10 inch skillet on it with no problem, as well as a 5 quart Dutch oven. I think that a 12 inch skillet would probably work as well, but anything larger than that would be more difficult to use. This unit also includes detailed instructions on how to use the product as well cleaning and maintaining it.
