Dash Deluxe Shaved Ice & Slushy Maker is made in China and nicely designed and sized for home kitchen use. It is a lightweight plastic but has suction feet that keep it stable when working. It has three settings: coarse, medium and fine and I prefer the medium most of the time. The 1 liter pitcher is the ideal size for my kitchen. This device itself is about the size of a basic coffee maker and the light cream color is a nice neutral off-white shade that looks good on my counter. I have been wanting a slushy machine but most of the ones that I saw were much too big for my needs. This one is perfectly sized and very easy to use. I put in about 6 or seven ice cubes and it is very easy to stop and add more. I have been using this device for a week now and I am delighted with it. Nice little shaved ice machine. I have it sitting out on my counter and it takes up very little space. It has nice suction on the bottom so it doesn’t move while it is working. Doesn’t make too much noise. I like the three options for the size of the shaved ice which most other ones don’t give you the option which is why I purchased this one. It is easy to clean but I have it jam once or twice (it is easy to take apart so it only takes a minute or two to fix the jam). My only issue with it is unless you get all the ice out as it melts it will leak even with the pitcher under it (I never want to take it apart right after using it as I am typically eating the shaved iced so there is also a little bit of ice in it that melts but I just put a towel down).
