  • Works great and easy to set up!
Color: Black
Clear video quality day and night, and having both front and rear cameras gives great peace of mind. Easy to install and well worth the price.

  • Worth the price.
Color: Black
We own a less expensive dash cam and we're not happy with the quality. This one is great. Even at night it gives clear images. I've downloaded the loops to my desktop and you can easily read license plates of the vehicles around you. It sets up easily and the instructions are clear. It comes with a 78 page book written in clear English and covers just about any situation you will come across. I would suggest buying several 128GB micro SD cards. In 4k mode, you get 10 hours of video saved before it starts looping. We take long trips and like to be able to save some of the previous day images. We just pop in a new card every morning. You can buy up to 512GB cards which hold 37 hours of video, but they are expensive and if something goes wrong, or you lose them - it hurts. One of the drawbacks is that you have to have power supplied to make it work. A USB adapter cable is included. There is no battery. If you want to use the parking monitor mode, you have to order a kit to hard wire the unit. They don't recommend that you wire it to an outlet that is always on - it will drain your battery if it's left in normal record mode. Also, they say it is normal for it to get hot, but if you're parking on a summer day in a place like Arizona or Florida and leave it on the windshield, it gets very hot and there is a thermal protector that will shut the camera off until it cools down. We put it in the glove box on days like that so we can use it right away. We have the recording loops set to 10 minutes. The other options are 1, 3, and 5 minutes, but we found it's easier to view a whole days worth at the 10 setting. There is a button that will save and protect the current loop in case there is an accident or something you want to keep. All in all, we are totally pleased with this unit. ... show more

  • Decent enough
Color: Black
Before writing a review, I wanted to really learn how to use it in order to be able to do pro and cons. The pros were it was pretty easy to set up and the picture quality is pretty good. I got the app and bought a one-year membership to start. Sometimes it connects to my phone easily, but most of the time it doesn't or it's a lot of manipulation back and forth to get it to connect. Outside of setting up the camera on my phone, I really don't see the advantage of using the app on the phone or the advantage of the membership. I did manage to finally figure out how to download a video to my google drive, but as far as what I was trying to look at, it didn't really do the job. I am hoping that if I capture an accident or in one, that it will be doable to get decent footage... will have to wait and see but hopefully I'm never in that situation. The rear camera I placed inside my dodge journey and the tinting of the windows at times results in poor camera quality. Mounting outside would probably resolve that for most people. The amount a data I can get on the 32 gb that it came with is sufficient enough with the overwrites. I would recommend this camera, but don't recommend the app connection or the membership. ... show more

  • Not the best Dash Cam
Color: Black
I’ve owned this dash camera for about a year and a half, so I feel like I can finally give an honest long-term review. Overall, it has some decent features, but reliability has been a major issue for me. First, the video quality is average at best, and the Wi-Fi connection can be extremely frustrating. Sometimes it connects instantly, other times it refuses to connect at all. I’ve also had to reformat the camera several times because it will randomly stop recording without any warning. I’ll think everything is working fine, only to check later and realize there haven’t been any recordings saved for days. Another issue is the date constantly resetting or changing on its own, which makes organizing footage difficult. The biggest disappointment happened today when I almost got into an accident and tried to review the footage—only to discover the camera hadn’t recorded anything since 5/10, even though today is 5/21. That completely defeats the purpose of having a dash cam for safety and evidence. The camera also overheats pretty easily. Once temperatures get above 85 degrees, it tends to turn on and off repeatedly, which is especially frustrating during the summer. Storage is also limited because continuous recording only seems to keep about a day’s worth of footage before overwriting. On the positive side, installation was simple, and connecting the rear camera was straightforward. However, the rear camera quality is not nearly as clear as the advertised photos suggest. Overall, this camera is easy to set up, but the inconsistent recording, overheating, and connectivity issues make it hard to fully trust when you actually need it most. ... show more

  • Easy to use.
Color: Black
I recently purchased this dash cam, and overall, I'm quite impressed, The video quality is okay, see example how it looks, I'm using 1080 resolution, I also tried with 4K and its much better quality, but storage is filling up to fast. The setup process was straightforward and didn't take long, which I appreciated. The app is also user-friendly and adds a lot of value, making it easy to access and review footage directly from my phone. Some downsides. While the initial setup was simple, I found the process of connecting the dash cam to my phone to be a bit complicated. It took me a while to figure it out, Additionally, the hassle of pulling the wire to install the rear camera was a bit too much for me, so I ended up skipping it altogether. Despite these minor issues, the overall performance of the dash cam is excellent, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for dash-cam. ... show more

  • The camera is great, still worth buying, but the app is very subpar.
Color: Black
I wanted to give this dash cam 5 stars due to the many features it offers. However, the Viidure app that is accompanied by this camera system, is not well thought out with one major issue; its connectivity. Luckily the app is not a requirement for the dashcam to function normally and serve its purpose. Yet, not having the extra app features available is a real drawback too. I was going to return it, but due to many recent close calls on the road, I can't take that chance to wait for a different one. So here are the pros and cons; The Pros: The camera is well constructed and a great value providing 4k UHD at its pricepoint. It is small enough to not obstruct your view and yet large enough to easily see the interface. It has a very powerful suction cup that holds strong. Installation is really straightforward with just enough cord length on my 2015 GMC Acadia Denali. The view angles are decent at 170° for the front and 150° for the rear. It automatically turns on and records when you start the vehicle and ends recording and shuts off when you turn off the vehicle. It has adjustable G-force sensitivity so you can have it permanently store a video based on moderate to hard braking, or collision only force "low setting". It has a removable micro sd card that can be upgraded to a maximum of 256GB or maximum of 5.98 hours of 4K footage, however you will need to have a video player / converter that can play TS video format and also convert it to MP4 if needed. The Cons: The interface is a little funky until you get used to it, but it's not the worst I've dealt with. The WiFi hotspot you are forced to use to connect your phone via the ViiDure app is virtually pointless, at least for a Google Pixel 7 Pro. I tried everything and got it to connect successfully one time, "briefly". Also the "register for account" is not functional giving error messages when you go to create an account. It would be great to have the app for its GPS features, immediate direct download over air from the camera, pause and record from the phone, and live viewing from the dash cam on the phone. I will not be able to use the app unfortunately due to the lack of connectivity. The app demands you connect through the dash cam's WiFi hotspot or you can't even access the app! The last thing is it comes with a modest 30GB micro sd card, so 4K footage is going to fill that up with "locked" footage pretty quick if you are in a hazardous driving area, and it will no longer save footage after that. With all this said, it's still not a bad dash cam, and still a decent deal compared to cameras twice its price. Just don't rely on using the app as it is trash due to connectivity issues. You can still retrieve the footage by inserting the micro sd card into your phone (if it has expanded storage), or your computer. In the end this dash cam still completely fulfills its purpose even without the "fancy app". ... show more

  • solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their safety on the road
Color: Black
The dashcam I recently installed in my car has been a reliable addition to my driving experience. It offers clear video quality during both day and night, thanks to its wide dynamic range feature. The setup was straightforward, with clear instructions that made it easy to mount and wire into my vehicle. The camera automatically starts recording when I start the car, and the loop recording ensures I don't have to worry about managing storage space. The user interface on the accompanying app is simple and functional, though not particularly polished. It allows me to view and download clips directly to my phone, which is convenient. Overall, this dashcam provides dependable performance at a reasonable price. It captures essential footage without any unnecessary frills, making it a solid choice for anyone looking to enhance their safety on the road. ... show more

  • Super convenient Dashcam
Color: Black
I recently installed theDashCam in my car, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. The installation was incredibly simple. The camera stays in place even on rough roads. The video quality is outstanding, even at night. During the day, the 1080p HD footage is crisp and clear, and at night, the built-in night vision does a great job of capturing details without too much glare. The loop recording feature works seamlessly as well. The app that comes with the dashcam allows for easy access to footage and settings, and the Wi-Fi connectivity makes transferring video files to my phone quick and hassle-free. Overall, the XYZ DashCam is a solid, reliable choice for anyone looking for peace of mind on the road. It's a great investment for both daily driving and long trips. ... show more
