  • Split your ball joint apart like a pro!
You want to feel like a pro? In the middle of a camera set, surrounded by women about to help, watching the peak male performance, and gettin that two handed ball rubbing joint action on, then buy this set! Real life, this set worked flawlessly and i couldnt be happier! I have sets that cost hundreds of dollars and this one works, feels, amd performs the same! ... show more

  • Works great with a little commonsense!
Put some grease on the threads so they hade slick'em on them and used a wrench with it. My ball joints on my 97 F150 4X4 were pretty rusted in since they were factory. Put some pressure on them, put an old socket on it and hit it with small hammer. After 2-3 times of that they came right out. Installing them was a breeze with tool also. Glad I had it or I would have been using the blue end wrench to remove them. Also better than a 3lb sledge beating the puss out of everything. ... show more

  • It worked to remove the ball joint, but installation was tricky.
It worked to remove the ball joint from the lower control arm, but be aware when reinstalling, the short cup that goes on top to receive the ball joint was not big enough diameter to fit around the ball joint for my Jeep Liberty. Additionally, the clamp is not long enough to use any of the other cups. What you will end up with is a half pressed ball joint, and then you have to figure out how to press it the remaining quarter inch or so. What I did was filed down the teeth on a hole saw, put a piece of flat stock over the top and used the hole saw as the receiving cup. It worked, but I ruined a 20 dollar hole saw in the process. ... show more

  • Worked well for changing both ball joints.
The tool seemed to work well, it held up well. The only thing that went wrong was the little rubber rings on the c-clamp came out and let the ball on the turning end come out, I'm still trying to put it back together with another rubber ring.

  • Keeping it!
This is a get what you pay for item. This will get the job done, but I suspect it's not going to hold up long term. I'm happy that I have this tool on hand, and in my tool box.
