  • Great replacement of terrible OEM system
Installed on my 2023 Ford Maverick. Instalation instructions could be better but otherwise the system works great and looks oem. Replaces the stupid ford cubby and terrible screen with a beautiful clear display. Speak sound is actually clearer. I don't need a doggle for car play. Best upgrade for this year and model vehical in my opinion. ... show more

  • Good upgrade for factory unit
The main reason I bought this unit is because of the 12.3" display and my 2022 Maverick didn't have Wireless Android Auto. The seller claimed it was a plug and play installation and it truly is if you follow the instructions carefully. The interface between the radio and the steering wheel controlls was immediate and needed no setting. The reverse camera needed to be set to mirror image in factory settings, no big deal. Wireless Android Auto and Car play were up and running as soon as the unit was synced with my phones. The video and sound were as good or better than the factory unit. The pictures in the User Manual were too small to be of any use so the installation instructions were what you will need to refer to. ... show more

  • No-Brainer
I have a 2023 Ford Maverick Hybrid XLT and purchased this as a hail mary of sorts because honestly my biggest issue with the truck is 2010 radio tech. Small screen, no wireless Android auto or car play, and connectivity issues when using dongles to bypass the wired restriction with the stock radio. Radio works as advertised with some small adjustments. Built in EQ makes stock system sound loads better, installation was pretty straight forward with until looking factory original after installation. Radio controls work and so does back up camera but as mentioned the backup is slightly distorted due to the larger screen. I did adjust system settings to turn off notifications for AC controls/temp and heating status bc I am not a fan of the display notifications. Slightly disappointed that you can't just plug into the stock microphone for audio calls but still 10/10 would do again. I did find keeping my phone unlocked during start up has the radio connected and playing before I leave my driveway vs the stock radio taking its sweet time until I was already on the road to load right. Fordpass still works for me as well so no issues there either ... show more

  • Excellent Hardware, but the Android 13 system is outdated
Dasaita 12.3" Car Stereo for 2021 2022 2023 Ford Maverick Screen Upgrade | Android 13, 2K QLED, Wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, 6GB+4GB, 4G LTE, 5G WiFi, Plug & Play, FM/AM Radio, In-dash Navigation What an incredibly refreshing system. You get what the listing promises. A responsive system that produces a great image with the audio to match. On top of that you get a fully functional phone and data service when you add your (separately purchased) SIM card. I thoroughly checked this system out deep inside the Linux kernel, as I do with most of my reviewed systems. I was able to verify that the hardware and software is exactly as promised. Quality parts starting with the SD665 SOC (System On a Chip.) Processor: Octa-core CPU with 4x Kryo 260 Gold cores (Cortex-A73) and 4x Kryo 260 Silver cores (Cortex-A53).Graphics: Adreno 610 GPU, which handles UI rendering, navigation maps, and video playback. The entire system is running in 64-bit mode...meaning that it is compatible with modern apps. The only issue that I encountered: Even though the OS will be "supported" for the foreseeable future, System Security Updates (will be ending March 2026): Google stopped updating the core source code and patching deep system-level vulnerabilities for Android 13. I do not like putting a cell (SIM) card and my passwords into a system that will likely have no security updates in the future. The system is built solid as can be...will hold up to rough roads and trails without blinking.... The screen looks fantastic...even in bright sunlight...the color and depth are excellent. The audio is excellent...there are serious options through the DSP system. Navigation is fast and accurate. Online or offline you get great performance. Since you do not need to link your phone (SIM Card used) there is absolutely no delay like most other systems. This system allows something that most do not: A dedicated phone number (with the SIM card)...most only allow data service. It has a real HDMI connection (output) for linking your other screens...Like my 140 inch screen and laser Projector...give new meaning to "drive-in theater." This has allot of excellent features, but the security issues make them all a moot point for me. Overall: A great system, but the Lack of security update support, through the play store, is a huge problem for me. . ... show more

  • Good radio for Ford Maverick.
The primary motivation for purchasing this unit was its 12.3-inch screen, as my 2022 Maverick lacked Wireless Android Auto. The seller stated that it would be an easy plug-and-play setup, which it genuinely is if you adhere strictly to the guidelines provided. The connection between the radio and the steering wheel controls was instant with no further adjustments necessary. The backup camera required a simple adjustment to a mirror image within the factory settings, which was not a significant issue. Wireless Android Auto and CarPlay got activated immediately when the unit connected with my phones. The audio and video quality were as good as or superior to that of the original factory unit. The illustrations in the User Manual were too small to be practical, so you will need to depend on the installation steps. The radio performed as expected with minor tweaks. The built-in equalizer significantly improved the sound of the factory system, and the installation process was straightforward, resulting in a look that was almost factory original afterward. The radio controls function properly, and the backup camera is operational; however, it may appear a bit distorted because of the larger display. It is advertised as being plug-and-play. You can keep using your steering wheel controls and backup camera, but it's worth mentioning that the factory backup camera appears different on a larger high-resolution display. Overall, I believe this is the best choice for upgrading the radio in your Maverick. The installation isn't overly complicated; just follow the video tutorial available from Dasaita on YouTube. The FordPass app still works with my truck, which is outfitted with a basic Ford Sync system featuring wired Android Auto. Some users have reported losing access after the installation process. Additionally, this radio is not compatible with the B&O audio systems. The price is far more reasonable than spending thousands on aftermarket kits. The level of personalization is remarkable. Aside from CarPlay, this device operates much like an Android tablet, enabling me to enjoy Netflix or YouTube or to work from my vehicle if I choose. It offers a significant audio enhancement. The overall audio quality dramatically changes the experience of driving; the bass is richer and the clarity is exceptional. I also appreciate the customization features. Since you can choose any wallpaper from Google, the interface feels more tailored to you. The integrated app store on both iPhones and Androids is an excellent option that provides access to almost any application. The radio replacement for the Ford Maverick from 2021 to 2023 is quite pricey. It fits perfectly. No part of the radio was modified for installation. Both iPhones and Android devices connect flawlessly with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This head unit has transformed my car almost into a new vehicle and significantly improves the overall driving experience. My Ford Maverick, which I always regarded as dependable, has shown minimal wear even after a decade. This head unit elevates the sound quality, works smoothly with Apple CarPlay and various car technologies such as steering wheel controls and backup cameras, making it feel like a modern vehicle. When paired with Android 13, 6G RAM, and 64GB ROM, the performance is significantly enhanced. Applications launch quickly even when multitasking. It resembles a tablet more than a conventional automotive audio system. The connection for Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto is dependable and does not require wires. Functions such as calling, texting, streaming music, and navigation all operate effectively. There are no interruptions in audio playback, and the Bluetooth connection is established with speed. The built-in LTE and swift WiFi features enable seamless streaming and updates for maps. What distinguishes this device is how well it integrates with existing factory functions. Its compatibility with the TPMS and hybrid charging monitor allows for easier oversight of crucial vehicle systems. Wireless access to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto works flawlessly, and all original features, like the rearview camera and controls on the steering wheel, remain intact. Connections for Wireless Android Auto and CarPlay are stable and do not require cables. Music playback, messaging, phone calls, and navigation operate as expected. The speed of Bluetooth pairing is remarkable, and audio experiences no interruptions. Streaming content and updating maps are efficient due to built-in LTE and rapid WiFi access. Additionally, the sound quality is noteworthy. The DTS audio processing and equalizer provide fine-tuning capabilities that yield richer, clearer audio compared to the original system. Live traffic updates and GPS function accurately when connected. The screen quality appears exceptionally bright and vibrant, even under direct sunlight. CarPlay establishes a connection swiftly, making driving significantly easier. ... show more

  • 📡 Factory Fit Screen Upgrade With Wireless CarPlay 🚗
Overview: This stereo upgrade fits the Maverick perfectly, runs smooth, and looks sharp on the dash, and it's a solid value for what you get. I've tried this stereo in my Ford Maverick a few times now and it appears to be made of quality materials 📡. It supposedly plugs right into the factory setup and keeps steering wheel controls, the rearview camera, and climate info working like before, no cutting wires or guessing which plug goes where. The 12.3 inch "QLED" screen looks sharp with a 2K resolution, and it doesn't lag even with a few apps open thanks to the 6GB of RAM. Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto both connect on their own once set up, so you're not digging around for a cable every time you get in the car 🔌. Sound quality is noticeably better than stock too, the DSP tuning actually gives the speakers something to work with instead of just turning up static louder. It's got 4G and 5G WiFi built in as well, handy for updates or streaming if your phone signal is weak. This works fine and value is pretty good for a plug and play unit that doesn't mess with the truck's factory features 🚗. Worth it if you want a screen upgrade without an aftermarket install headache. ... show more

  • Stunning 2K widescreen with a sleek, minimalist look and high-end power
This 12.3-inch Dasaita head unit is an incredible interior upgrade for the Ford Maverick, offering a beautiful, minimalist appearance on the dash while remaining absolutely feature-packed under the hood. The clean, low-profile bezel design flows naturally with the Maverick’s modern, utilitarian interior layout, avoiding the clunky, oversized look of typical aftermarket stereos. Installation is a straightforward, true plug-and-play process. The included Canbus module and custom wiring harness handle all the heavy lifting, allowing the system to effortlessly retain your important factory steering wheel controls, reverse camera tracking, and climate information right out of the box. Despite its understated, sleek exterior, the hardware configuration is a total powerhouse. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8-core CPU paired with a massive 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. This premium spec makes the system blazing fast and incredibly smooth; apps launch instantly, and you can run split-screen navigation alongside media streams with zero interface lag or sluggishness. The 12.3-inch 2K QLED touchscreen is exceptionally sharp and vibrant, using full lamination to kill harsh glares even under direct sunlight. On the connectivity front, it leaves nothing out, delivering ultra-stable wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a built-in 4G LTE SIM slot, and 5G Wi-Fi for lightning-fast data updates. Combined with premium DTS audio processing to heavily crisp up the truck's sound stage, it is a high-end, smooth, and highly integrated infotainment system that beautifully balances look and utility. ... show more
