It wasn't hard to place together, just tedious. I wish the bars stayed in place better because as we were putting it on the bed, they kept popping off. Once the mattress was on it, it was fine though. It seems very supportive and I like thr low profile so the mattress isn't too tall.

It wasn't $40 I wouldn't have bought it... If you have patience that's great then go ahead and buy it otherwise get one that's already put together. I'm not sure if it was the box Spring or the frame but the box Spring did not fit my frame so make sure that your measurements are accurate before purchasing... I bought 2 different brands that might be the issue but overall I thought it would have fit but it's not universal. ... show more

Not a bad box spring once it’s put together. The act of putting it together was horrible. The nuts wouldn’t screw on to the screws that hold the entire frame together without using a key to hold the screw in place and using pliers to simultaneously screw the bolt on. After doing that about 10 times, I wanted to throw this thing off the balcony. So keep that in mind when deciding to purchase ... show more
