I used this to replace a battery in my Sony Dualshock 3 controller for my PS3. I needed a battery and didnt want the standard size official Sony battery as theyre very small, in the order of 500 mAh or so. I installed this and it fired right up even without charging it which is a good sign. It takes twice as long to charge the controller now, but it lasts seemingly forever now. ive used it daily for almost 2 weeks now and it still says I have 2/3 charge. I would highly recommend this battery to anyone looking to do the same mod. It fit in the old battery spot perfectly fine, but I did place a bit of foam between the motherboard and battery to keep the solder points from poking the battery body. ... show more

This is the same form factor as several devices I have such as a GPS but it has greater capacity. With the standard tiny plug it will easily just plug in if you manage to take the device apart without damaging it!

    • Battery doesn't hold charge
Used this to install in my Dual GPS sensor,the battery charges fine and works for a few hours , but if it sits for more than a few weeks, the battery doesn't hold the charge. The original battery that came with the unit would hold charge for many months between use.
