Pros: Very strong lighet with three settings and a width beam control. I have always liked these but found them very week and limited use. The fit on the head is good and not too heavy in spited of big battery. comes in a starage string bag i keep in the glove box. I have used it for night time repairs outside the camper, spotting game, night time BBQ. It has a main beam you can focus, two wide angel beams for general vision, combination of those on for max bright. Flashing strobe. Cons: all around bigger and heavier than other small utility lamps, rechargable only. You cant use reg batteries. Some times slips off my baseball cap when wearing. I would buy another one to replace if needed or i decide to have in two locations. Good price.

I've been using headlamps for years, hunting and around the house working. This one is definitely the best one I've had yet. The best feature for me has been the bright red light function. The military used green or red light for night missions because they preserve your night eyes. So I've used the red function for years to get into my stand in the dark. The only problem is that all my other head lamps had very weak red lights, ok for up close work but not so much when trying to follow a trail in the dark. The DanForce has an awsome red light function! Of course the white functions are also way above other headlamps I've had in the past. Last, but not least, is the comfort. Even over a hat it feels totally secure and you may even forget you have it on. Oh, it's rechargeable too!

I bought a few sets of this for a trip through a cave. I used two sets for the entire trip, and a third toward the end, when a friend's head lamp died. First, the bad. - It's only IP54 rated, which means it's rated for splashes of water. I don't know how this going to perform in a downpour, but will find out some time this season. Drips from the cave ceiling over a period of hours didn't bother it. - There's only a single mode switch. To use the mode you want, you must press the button until you get the desired mode. It's got a strobe mode, so cycling through the modes is irritating. There should be mode, and on/off. Alternatively, multiple mode buttons. - There's no brightness control. The lights are on or off, period. Now the good. - It took three hours of constant use to reduce the battery charge to 75%, primarily using the two outer lights. - The two outer lights do an excellent job of flooding the area immediately in front of you. I didn't need the center light for navigating the cave, and only used it when I needed to reach out in the larger caverns. - The center light is adjustable, from a narrow beam to wide flood. It's plenty bright as well, and I used it a few times in larger cave areas. - Fitting was easy. It took me less than a minute to adjust the harness to my head. - Construction seems good for $35. All the parts felt higher quality than the price point, and there were no quality control issues. - The lamps are vertically adjustable. They'll point straight ahead, almost straight down, and anywhere in between. Overall, I'd categorize the experience as positive, and would buy these again.

Greetings Fellow Consumers! Alright! Well, it has been a near full year! Since my first EVER purchase of DanForce products, I have encountered my first break. As in, break in terms of full hardware break. This meaning, wires were twisted and so loose, I just simply plugged out the wires with ease. DO NOT FRET! This is a headlamp I SWEAR by. Yes. That means I curse a sailors bad mouth all the day long! It was unfortunate that I today, at November 29th, 2024 (Just near shy of a 1year anniversary) have been stricken with a bad result of what I saw as faulty wiring. It dishearens me to see a GREAT product die to such ease of use. Should it be known that in under a years sunder tho shall see a shimmering dispar? NO! I would love nothing more than for DANFORCE to re-inforce the ideals laid before them to enhance upon the wiring system to enable more rugged and stern use. If all I do if long press the power, and long press it for duty, but find it unresponsive, what shall one due? This is a headlamp I stand by, and with all my WILL shall see a just and ramification of ill just on nights that require just keen sight! So please, DANFORCE look into sturding up the wiring system and with all the headcsases that may be. (Heights and Widths) as this is the leading case to my Erenst belief to cause a total loss in functionality in my product. I would love to have the next purchase comped, but I do know that I am not looking to have an easy way about life. But, just know, Illumination keeps both pots and dogs (alike) at bay towards night. TLDR: Grab one, if it lasted me more than a year, nearly just wearing (adjusting for snug snug fit) recharging, rinse and repeat) For $30 YES YES YES. Grab one now and grab a second just for a spare! Update: 2024 December 1st, heartbreak. It died! I realized the issue was the wiring on the input had become loose enough the wires were internally not attached, as I had not yanked on the cords, and just pulled until it just popped out. It was unfortunate, but it was my fault as I need to have this in it's own compartment, away from things that can "squash it" or compress wiring while I am working (which it just sits in a backpack all day, behind my chair while driving". Non the less, it broke. Be mindful of the wires is all. If anything a still must have product for the year and if I took a few more motions of protecting it, could have lasted a full year or more. Again, $30, for 1year+ is nothing when you can get some spares and such. DANFORCE: If I may recommend, I would like to see the solid light, and redlight as the ONLY features. Long pressing and holding for on/off, and that would be that. Strobe I personally don't have a need for, and the main light is strong enough. I REALLY love the focusing dial, and that should be kept, but a few less clicks would make me even faster at deliveries at night. My husband takes the dogs out after dark to do their business. It is a rural area so no lights. His last head lamp wore out and the reviews he read on DanForce were very positive. This lights up the backyard so much better than his last one. He no longer needs to carry a flashlight also. It fits well and has a number of variations on the how the light works. Great product.
