The Danby 11 cu ft. apartment size refrigerator is phenomenal! Exactly what we wanted, and better! Very spacious as our 2nd frig to supplemental our small kitchen frig. Great quality, well made. The Amazon Services delivery guys were exceptional! Friendly as can be (even on a hot afternoon of 114 degrees in Phoenix), they unboxed the appliance, set it up right where we wanted it inside, and made sure it was working. Great experience! We love all the shelves and various levels to move them around, the bottom crisper drawer is large, which we like, the unit was up and running and cooled to 40 degrees in less than 2 hours. The light inside provides plenty of lighting. Quite a few customers have complained about the loud fan noise.........our fan is totally quiet! We have it in a room with carpet rather than tile, so perhaps that matters. But our frig is so quiet, we can barely hear it running. Very happy with the item! Glad we purchased it! It's very sleek looking too. We got the spotless touch stainless front. Only had it a day, but so far, no regrets. Will report back later should that change, but I don't think it will. We have a portable Danby a/c unit which we've had for 4 years, and love it! If you're undecided, just buy it! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Woke up to Alexa telling me a package was delivered. Opened the door expected to see a a package down below on the porch. In fact most appliances are delivered to a local warehouse and then they call you to set up delivery. Not this company lol it comes straight to your door and FAST! Opened that door and ran smack dab right into into. Yep! No driveway delivery here. It’s door delivery all the way. Lmao 😜 Anyhoo, that’s some 5 star customer service right there except I had to lift it back down the porch steps and carry it back around the house to the garage lol On a serious note, it purrs like a baby and keeps drinks colder than Alaska during winter. I’m raising teenagers so drink storage was needed. It was packaged great and came in excellent new condition. I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a beverage fridge alternative. I’m gonna need a matching wine & alcohol one soon 😉 ... show more

The size and space is good. I like that it doesn't have a freezer. BUT....IT IS SO LOUD that I've had to move it out of the room I work in because the motor noise is deafening!!! Would never buy again and am currently looking for another different brand. Do not buy if you need a quiet refrigerator.

As a refrigerator, it is a very nice unit, quiet and cools very well...BUT... When I was shopping, I searched for FREEZERS and in the list of freezers, this refrigerator shows up. I know it is pretty much my fault, however, everything about this 'freezer' was perfect. The size, it was an upright.... a little pricey and NO PRIME, but it fit the bill perfectly in a time when finding deliverable freezers was impossible...... Well, it was impossible because after receiving the unit, it turns out that it was NOT a freezer, but a refrigerator. So then I tried to fill out the RETURN form..... then they state... NO RETURNS .... which certainly, from what I read in the Amazon policy is NOT the policy. So, I am stuck with a $560 refrigerator which I did not want or need and still need a freezer.... BUYER BEWARE !!! ... show more

We have only used this for 2 weeks, but this replaced an almost identical platform fridge/freezer from Magic Chef, but this is only a fridge. This thing has a ton of space for its size, runs very little to keep contents @ 38-40F at a setting of 4 out of 6 number on the dial. The noise is a bit more than I thought it should be, but it is not noisy. The noise seems to be related to the internal fan. Otherwise, the door fits extremely well, the look of it is nice, and I am liking it very much for the amount of room and number of shelves to play with. ... show more

This is a perfect fridge to have as a basement or garage spare. There is a lot more room to it than I thought. Update: I have had this fridge now for over four years. It is located in my hot garage in Texas and it still works without any problems and keeps all the extra food we store without any problems. The size is perfect, however, it constantly leaks with the condensation and we have to wipe it out daily. We can't put anything on the bottom shelf or in the drawer and it just develops a pool of water in the fridge and on the floor outside.
