I'm not going to lie. I picked this up for myself and I'm 45. I've always wanted a canopy bed and now that my kids are moving out I'm remodeling one of my boy's bedrooms into a shabby chic reading nook for myself and using his old bed as my couch. I plan to drape this over his single mattress long wise and fill it full of toss pillows. When I received this I didn't really have high hopes for quality as often it seems the photo never supports the product received. Boy was I wrong on this one. I should note I haven't hung it yet....my youngest is in the process of moving and I will update once I hang it. Pros: This is very pretty! I love the fact that this has lace and tassels unlike most offered on Amazon. It makes it elegant and shabby chic. The fabrics are pretty nice quality. It's made of a decent quality chiffon like material and a woven lace like top. The additional lace on the edges is actually thick and decent quality as well. In fact, I thought the fabrics were clothing quality like. It made me think "wedding dress". The tassels are a little cheaper, but look nice. Pretty darn long at about 10 feet which allows for decent draping. And that's not including the rope for mounting, just from the top dome to the bottom of the fabric. Top loop is about 2 feet in diameter. Comes with all mounting equipment including screw expanding rivet for dry wall. Appears to be an easy mount. The $44 price tag seems pretty steep for this, but the cheaper plain canopies on Amazon start around $30 and the more decorative ones are in the $80s, I think this is actually a pretty decent fair market value especially for the quality. Cons: The top lace is defiantly more tan than in the photo leading to an odd juxtapose of white and tan mixed. It's still pretty, but rather odd that they do not match better. Hand wash only. Understandable, but as it's white and prone to dust, it sure would be nice if it was manufactured for easier washing. Overall I'm pretty delighted in this and can't wait to use it! It does help me feel a little better about the future prospects of empty nester, when I really should be treating myself more as a princess having survived 3 boys by myself. I think all single moms have earned this canopy and princess reading nook time. I might have tea parties up there too now that I think about it.

I was a bit skeptical of the quality of this canopy when I initially ordered it based on the price-point, but this looks and feels so pretty and luxurious! My daughter's room has princess theme and this fit right in perfectly for an elegant princess look without being too garish or cheap-looking. Yes, this canopy is a tad bit on the pricier side, but it's worth it for the fabric quality and detail that you get in return!

This canopy is so gorgeous. I got this to hang over my babies crib after renovations to the nursery are complete. The lovely semi-sheer fabric offers just the right amount of privacy for baby. I was surprised at the high quality craftmanship that this canopy displayed. I wasn't expecting it to be EVEN PRETTIER in person. The embroidery and lace are beautifully sewn. You receive a variety of hanging hardware to choose from. The circular frame is a twist and fold, similar to a car visor. It conveniently pops open once it is taken out of the box. Easy to pack away. It would look charming over any bed or provide a magical space for the children to play under. A+++ all the way!

This canopy offers several ways to enjoy it. It’s flowy/ethereal and compact. A ceiling hook is provided. It’s fun to add string lights around it, too. A terrific way to make a special place to find solitude.

I was a little skeptical of the quality I would get for the price as compared to other canopy options, but this looks and feels so luxurious! My daughter's room has a Disney castle / fantasyland theme and this fit right in perfectly for an elegant princess look without being too garish or cheap-looking. This over-the-bed canopy in white/off-white with a crochet top, and I must say it has completely exceeded my expectations. The crochet top adds a touch of artisanal craftsmanship, showing intricate designs. It seems very well made, and made to last. The crochet work not only enhances the overall aesthetic but also adds a delightful texture to it as well. It also is made of a silky fabric for the body of the canopy that drapes gracefully over the bed but also feels luxurious to the touch. Installation was surprisingly easy, and the canopy hangs beautifully over the bed, creating a dreamy space for our daughter. This was a great purchase that surpassed expectations in terms of design, craftsmanship, and overall aesthetic appeal.
