I ordered a 4' x 6" piece of turf to use as a mat outside of our travel trailer. My initial thoughts on it are all positive. I am old enough to remember the original "Astro Turf". It was course, looked fake, and got very hot in the sun. This piece of turf feels very nice underfoot, and there are multiple colors of grass "blades" that make it appear pretty close to the real thing. It arrived rolled up in a very tight roll, and the edges wanted to roll back up. After a few hours in the sun it seems to be laying down properly. Our dog took to it right away. He rolled around on it as if it was real grass. I do notice that the edges are shedding a bit of "grass." I don't think it is a problem, and will come back to this review if it seems to be unraveling. I typically give for stars to products that meet expectations. This product is pretty good. It is pricy, but the competition seems to cost about the same. I'd give it four and a half stars, but there isn't a half button. ... show more

I build a ramp for my ducks to use to get up to their above ground pool but they were afraid to go up the ramp as it was, well, above ground. Then I got an idea and ordered this artificial grass. The piece was 4 ft x 6 ft and my ramp was just over 2 ft by 12 ft long so I cut it in half the full 6 ft length and it fit perfectly on the full length of my ramp. The 'grass' looked real enough that my ducks immediately walked up the ramp and jumped in their pool without any direction from me. Now they freely go up and down the ramp all day dipping in their pool when they please. I used a staple gun to attached the artificial grass to the ramp and it has stayed in place because of the nice dense backing. I had a few strings of the backing hanging of the cut edge but I trimmed them off and have no further issues with it fraying in further. The grass looks nice on the ramp and the ducks haven't been able to pull any of the grasses out of the rug. It is in direct sunlight all day and other than getting a little warm, which isn't a bother to them as they are always dripping wet, it is is great condition after a few weeks of being installed and is not faded at all. Me and my ducks and a goose are very pleased with this lovely 'grass' they now have up to their pool. ... show more

This looks so nice where I am using it. It looks real and stays neat and clean easily with just a spray of the hose. It's thick and well made, does not look fake and it's standing up nicely to all the wear and tear. It's a great price and I will get more for next year. I highly recommend.
