We bought this kennel to use for our 40 pound dog for traveling and outdoors when needed while camping. It is extremely sturdy and even has a door that locks, if needed. We strapped it down inside our vehicle and our dog rides inside it so she's safe while traveling. It's expensive, but we believe it will hold up for a very long time. We're very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this kennel.

This is a solid crate. Would/will buy again! And can’t recommend enough! That being said.. I made a few modifications to fit the angle of my rear seat in the Bronco Sport. Added 3 120mm fans to circulate air in the rear with a solar pack that lasts about 3 days on low with no sun. I’m currently building a mini 12v low powered thermoelectric Peltier air conditioner to attach while parked on those warmer days. Once it get it programmed for remote monitoring, I’ll post again. Very excited with 283!

This is exactly what I was looking for, a heavy duty and lockable crate for my 55LBS Labrador. I wanted to get something that can be secured down during long trips and be locked when hunting and camping. It hardly flexed as I (200 LBS) stood on top. I am very happy with the quality and build for the price. Compared to other brands this crate is fairly affordable and I believe near or if not the same quality. One complaint that most would probably not noticed but bothered me would be that the label/logo was not applied perfectly straight, luckily I was able to heat it up with a hair drier and then re-apply straight and level. That being said I would not let that stop me from buying another one. The hardest part was picking a size. I went with the medium and it is perfect for my smaller 55LBS Lab. As you can see in the pictures it is comfortable, but still snug to protect the dog in a wreck. Will purchase another one when I get another dog and would recommend to anyone

This thing is a beast, I swear you could drop it from an airplane and it’d be fine. The handle is super great, the door has a satisfying sound when it closes and it feels like it’ll keep my dog safe if we wreck. Bonus points for being a delightfully obnoxious purple. About all I’d change is I’d add some sort of pins top and bottom corners of the door so it had 3 points of secure closure instead of just one. Super happy with my choice of vehicle crates and this shipper had it to my house in like 2 days.

We take our dog with us on most car trips but does suffer separation anxiety. Now if we want to go to a short dinner we know she is safe and so are the rooms. Not too heavy but a bit awkward carrying it

This product feels super solid. Got for my 25 lb mini schnauzer mix. It is a bit big, but this was the smallest size they had for this crate. Door locks but keys are not unique, so concerned that others with same kennel can access mine; but, still recommend.

Worth the price for the doors alone. Fantastic kennels! We now have two for our Vizslas. We bought mediums and both our 50lb and 60lb dogs fit nicely in them. The door closing and locking mechanism is worth every penny you pay for these kennels.
