It's been beat up stepped on & I accidentally cut the tip off (easy fix,stupid mistake with my pliers) would recommend & will buy another

    • It is a good rod for the price, but the handle is a flaw in my opinion.
The Daiwa Aird-X rod is good for the price. It is a very stable rod for bass fishing. Very good feel and good flex pattern for a lot of lures. Comes in a variety of sizes, one and two piece. However, there is one major flaw, the handle. There is a major gap in the handle where you hold the rod. I think they got the name "Aird" because of the air between the rod and your hand. It is an issue because it decreases you hand contact with the rod and you lose a lot of feel. Also, it is not the most comfortable rod to hold. I think you need to have more of your hand touching the rod for good feel. Feel is everything when fishing. ... show more

    • Nice pole, still looking to get accustomed to holding it properly.
After couple of outings using the the pole, I'm still trying to find a comfortable grip on it. My only gripe.
