Description

The process is divided into four steps: 1) cleaning your touch screen by using the green "1" (wet) and red "2" (dry) wipes. Touch ONLY the edges of the screen with your fingers since the oil from your fingers may cause problems. 2) remove dust from your touch screen with the blue "dust absorber" stickers. These are really sticky, and you should hold them only by the end or tab--not the middle. Use the straight stickers for the edges of your screen, and the round sticker for the main part of the screen. 3) (please see included diagram) separate the protective screen--the THICK screen, which will soon be applied to your touch screen--from the THIN protective layer. Hold on to the black tab and pull gently from one corner diagonally across to the opposite corner OR straight across if you're really good with your hands. Now you have the solid screen protector ready to apply. Again, handle the screen ONLY by its edges, and place it carefully on your clean touch screen. As you apply GENTLE pressure to the surface of your touch screen protector, you will see the screen turn from gray to black, showing that contact has been made. 4) Wipe gently , using a SOFT cloth (not paper towels, since they can scratch) from the center outward until your new screen protector is attached completely to your touch screen. You now have protected your touch LCD screen from potential harm. Congratulations! Note: Accessory ONLY, camera is not included. I just purchased a Nikon D850 which includes a touch screen. On my previous Nikon DSLRs I used products like Nikon's BM-12 screen protector which offered superior screen protection but since it was not in contact with the screen would allow dust and tiny debris to get under the screen protector. Periodically you'd have to take it off to clean underneath. Now with the touch screen capability those methods of screen protection are impractical. Findings: I found the WH1916 D850 Screen Protector to be effective in adding a layer of protection to the view screen on my D850. It is similar to products I've put on my cell phone screens however I found it a little more confusing as the instructions are not as clear and straight forward. Since I've put screen protectors on my phones I drew on that knowledge to apply the protector. Unlike other screen protectors this one did not come with any cloth to clean the camera view screen of dust or smudges prior to protector application. It only came with some stickers to help guide the protector into place and to blot any dust or lint particles off of the screen prior to application. That said the price point was good. Finally, I had all of the touch control functionality that I had without the screen protector. Pros: - Very affordable - Touch screen remains sensitive to touch for control - Decent screen protection (so far) Cons: - Poor instructions - Lack of screen cleaning cloth Conclusion: I recommend this product as it is an affordable way to protect your expensive camera investment. ... show more

    • I Don’t Even Know It’s Installed
I’d include a photo, but it wouldn’t show the protector. It fit my Nikon D850 perfectly & I honestly forgot I installed it! The touch screen works fine & the protector is crystal clear with no bubbles; I was worried about bubbles, but it installed flawlessly. I’d recommend it highly.

I got these for my D500. The fit is perfect. You can't tell it's there. In fact, I forgot. I took my camera out of the bag today only to find a crack on the screen. It looked pretty bad. I was about to cry. Then I remembered I had the screen protector on it. I slowly peeled it off and.......my screen is fine! No damage at all. I'm still not 100% exactly how my screen took a hit without me knowing about it. But that's OK. I'm going to install my second protector now and order two more. Hopefully I'll never need them. ... show more

This was a strange experience. It came in a small beautiful wooden box - like something meant for a thin piece of jewelry - with 2 LCD protector screens and accompanying install wipes. I tried the first "Wet" wipe for cleaning the camera LCD. It was not wet. The "Dry" wipe was dry so after using the dry "Wet", I used the dry "dry" wipe - what else could I do? I then used a microfiber cloth since the LCD appeared to have some smudges - maybe because the "Wet" wipe was dry? I pulled the white tab on the screen protector diagonally per instructions to expose the protectors glued surface but the tab was not attached to any "thin protective layer", so there was no sticky side to the screen protector. Armed with this experience, I then tried the second set of screen and wipes. Again, the "Wet" wipe was dry. As before I wiped with "wet" and then "dry" wipes, although by now the camera LCD was clean. This time pulling the tab, separated a thin protective layer from the now sticky side of the thick LCD protector and it went on perfect. So in the end, it worked. I needed two tries to get it to work. Wet wipes both appeared dry (and thus defective?). In the end, it did work and I would probably have lost the second set anyway by the time I need it. I've bought other screen protectors that were advertised as tempered glass but were just cheap plastic. For that reason, I was sceptical, but these are perfect. It's 3 pack and honestly, as nice as they are, I'll probably never need the other two. It fit my Nikon D850 screen perfectly. The instructions have some translation to English quirks but you can figure out what they want you to do. First of all, DON'T USE THEIR CLEANING WIPES! As you can see they are tiny and cheap and left my screen a mess. It was like using tap water on a paper towel. I used a lint free lens cloth to clean it first and then after using their "wet" wipe it left hard to remove streaks all over my screen. I used my lint free lens cloth again to clean the screen and it took some care and time to clean it again. Then they have this STICKY dust remover. DON'T USE IT! It ALSO leaves gunk on your screen. The "Guide Stickers" were nice but throw out the tiny cheap "wet" and "dry" wipes along with the "dust" fly traps. Use the "Guide Stickers for perfect placement and use your lint free lens cloth to rub out any bubbles. I had one small one in the corner that was easy to push out. My touch screen works fine. This is a nice product just take my advice on how to use this kit. The last three pictures are with the protector on. ... show more

I had to use a jeweler’s loupe to read the instructions but they are short…just three sentences. Cover attaches like magic and I feel so much better knowing the screen is protected PLUS I have 2 more (pack of 3)
