The media could not be loaded. These are sturdy, colorful dinosaurs with a good variety of toy sizes and types of dinos! They are about the same quality as those dinosaur figurines that come in a tube or a tub. The fossil/skeleton dinosaurs are a cool addition and even the cute little hatching babies will be a big hit with most kids who like dinosaurs. I love that this set isn’t just 24 of the same thing over and over. My only minor complaint would be that the numbering isn’t great. The large dinosaurs are all in a row on days 21-24, and some of the skeletons and egg babies are numbered for days close to each other, etc. I might just renumber the doors myself to mix them up throughout the month. But that’s an easy fix for us. Also, the graphics of the caveman Santa are hilarious to me, so that’s a bonus. Overall, this is exactly what I hoped it would be. I would have ended up buying some dinosaurs as a gift or stocking stuffer anyway, so this is a very fun way to give them to my child. And at least his advent calendar is one less place I’ll be fighting against constant sugary treats all December. ... show more

I bought this for my almost 2 year old son in winter of 2020. It is now spring 2023, and my 4 year old (and his sister 8.5 years old) loves these dinosaurs even still. I bought my other kid a lego advent that year, and well, that's long gone! It's pretty rare that I write reviews so far after purchase, but this was a really great value, and they have really held up well too. A great starter collection, even if some seem to be slight repeats-- they are great to play with siblings and friends because there won't be any fighting. Highly recommend this set. I ordered this in a panic on Dec 1 because my son didn't have an advent. This came same day so I didn't even blink at the price. After being 8 days in I can say this is seriously the best advent. The dinosaurs are the perfect size and he will be able to keep playing with them, well after the holiday. So for the money, it's WORTH it. My 4yo daughter is big into dinosaurs currently. First thing she would do every morning (very early in the morning) is open the calendar with excitement. The dinosaurs were fun for my 2 year old but the sturdiness of the box left a lot to be desired. Many days dinosaurs were shifting to other places in the calendar and he was able to pull from other areas.
