I was excited to see the selection in this handheld. It has a huge selection of games, some I've played some I've never heard of. The game fits in your hands and has 2 directional pads, 4 working buttons, and select and start buttons. It took almost no time to get used to the controls for each game. It comes with a 2nd controller, and audio/video wires for connecting to the tv. Also has a rechargable battery, charged with a type C charger. With over 200 titles to play one can spend hours playing. My son lost interest almost immediately. The older generation games are not interesting to him. I like the game, I play and reminisce. The media could not be loaded. Nice mini game console with fun games. I thought that my kids wouldn’t like the old school gaming system and they loved it! My 8 year old and 5 year old play for hours. Sidescrollers, mazes, "mortal Kombat" style fighters, puzzles, etc. There's an overwhelming amount of games that are a lot of, again, the same game mechanics with different looks. Very simple. I like this this gaming system. It's important to realize that this is meant to be an inexpensive and an arcade screen quality experience. Each game is a bit of a choose your own adventure. Some of the games are in a foreign language (Japanese?) and so you get to push buttons to explore and see what they do and then figure out how each game is played. I am impressed that it has the ability to display on our TV. It uses a special cable that has a 3.5mm round headphone jack style cable that connects to the game console and has 1 video yellow RCA cable and 1 white RCA cable for audio. Our TV only has HDMI and does not have RCA ports, so we we had to get an RCA to HDMI adapter, which works well. The round audio style cable does not fit snugly into the jack, so, you know how you sometimes get static if you wiggle an old headphone cable in it's jack? Well, if you bump this round video cable, it will do the same thing to the TV's video. Also keep in mind it doesn't include a rectangular AC to USB-A adaptor. The secondary controller is great for two player games. Most of the 2 player capable games are Turn Taking style. The R button lets you exit a game and go back to the list of games menu. Overall, I think the game system is worth the money, but set your video quality expectations as if you were in 1970 or 1980. Think Pacman visuals. I like that there are no commercials that might be objectionable to little kids. It is good for what it is, an inexpensive, arcade based, hand held system. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. With the cold setting in, the kids are already searching for new ways to deal with the boredom of being stuck inside. This will be so helpful and has already provided a lot of entertainment! Lots of games to choose from, many different types of games also! We love that it comes with a controller for 2 player!
