These pins are so cute! A good-sized fake pearl is glued onto the curve portion. I bought these for my daughter's wedding in Costa Rica. My granddaughter..age 21.. put these into her hi/lo hair style as a little oomph! Actually used them to stick them thru the knit lace wedding dress to keep the lining from working its way up and showing where it shouldn't...kind of like a pin.. since we didn't have any. As pictured, pretty, kind of mediocre quality. A couple came broken; I think fix-able with some superglue. The pin part is very long, between 2.25 and 2.5 inches, longer than I would like. They're also not too thin, which is good, but thin enough I think that I could use a wirecutter to shorten them (I haven't tried yet but I suspect). A couple of them are also uneven; one side of the pin is longer than the other. They smelled little bit like nail polish remover in the bag. But yeah, not dissatisfied. Up close, the pearls don't look luxe, you can see little scratches and tiny dents (especially on the larger ones), but not noticeable at all from a distance. ... show more
