I needed an extra guest bed, but didn't want to get an air mattress. This chair is perfect! When it opens up, it makes a VERY comfortable "bed" - and definitely is large and wide enough for an adult. I love the black & white zig zag pattern!! Very cute! Note: when folded back into a chair, it sits low to the floor - not like a regular chair. It kind of looks like it belongs in a dorm room, but I don't mind. It is very comfy and because it is low to the floor, it's actually easier to hang out with my puppy - (rather than sitting on the floor). Another great thing: even though it is quite sturdy, it is very light, so it was easy getting it upstairs. Don't be fooled by the size of the box it comes in. I bought this for a tiny apartment since I didn't want to go for a couch, and I loved it. The print and color is true to the online picture. It became my go to spot for basically everything. The foam is VERY firm and sturdy, you will not sink to the floor! I've fallen asleep on it many times! When I had guests over I could fold it up and get it out of the way and fold it back out for someone to sleep on and it takes literally two seconds to fold out. When it's folded into the "chair" position, it is pretty short and not that long. It's not super practical for an adult to use often as a designated "seating" chair but for a kid it would probably be perfect. Also, ITS SUPER LIGHT which made it a so easy to move it in and out of my apartment and I could move it super easily around the apartment. It's big and awkward to move but it's so light I really can't be mad about that. (A handle or more Velcro to keep it together when moving would help!) Overall this was a solid buy. ... show more

Finally had grandkids visit after COVID. My space is limited so we replaced blowup mattress with the chair bed. It was nice to fold up the chair doing the day . The quality of the foam "mattress" is surprisingly high. It's a bit firm, but not too much. It really holds up, and offers a decent night's sleep -- with one caveat. The part of this that forms the back when it's a chair becomes a pillow-like speed bump when you turn it into a mattress. There is no way to do without it. But what makes a firm mattress does not necessarily make the best pillow. It gave me a headache the first night, and after that, I tried different pillows on top of the bump. That's okay, but it places your head significantly higher, making it a bit of a trick to get settled in. If this folded out in a way that made the pillow-bump optional, this would be the best futon-type furniture I've ever slept on. With the bump, well, it's mostly comfortable, but a bit of a challenge to navigate, unless you like a very round, very hard, immobile pillow. But hey! Maybe you do! ... show more

I love the colors and it worked great for my daughters friends to stay over. We did put a foam topper on it just because we have it. I have it in my office as a seat for the rest of the time. I chose these because of the amazing review I read. She really made me want these. I trusted the review. They are as she said pretty, roses etc. but very flimsy unwashable material. Also the back will not support a teen or young adult if sitting, and would be very uncomfortable because very low to ground. They also need to be leaning against a wall or they just fallback. But they are okay to sleep on. But for cost 133 plus taxes plus currency exchange and duty at border, they cost me for two close to 500 cdn dollars. Not worth it at all. Product exceeded expectations! Generous size, firm cushions. Bottom fabric matches top. Velcro straps hold bolster in place. Beautiful, bright colors, smooth soft fabric. Arrived promptly. The six-inch-thick foam is very comfortable. However, I wish I could purchase additional covers for this item. So far, I have not found any on Amazon. When folded, it is good for watching TV. As a bed, it might not work well for taller people (>5'6").
