This light is solid. Clamps onto the shelving above my desk easily. I can maneuver it around to any position I need. I believe there are 5 different color lights (bright white to yellowish incandescent). I always use the top two options as they are the best for reading and writing on my desk. However, after an estimated 15-20 hours of use; the light is starting to flicker. I can't use it anymore. Feels like I'm at a rave or a haunted house with strobes going off. I'm outside of my return window. I will not be buying another one. If you don't mind spending the $20 or so dollars to get you a few months down the road, then go for it. If not, look elsewhere.

I bought it for reading at the bedside. This light is ring-shaped and uses soft-light energy-saving LED wicks to emit light evenly. This lamp can be clamped to stand, strong bite force, effective bite is not easy to loose, it is very convenient to use, easy to operate, just a light press. Requires a USB port to plug into. Great for a laptop. Light pattern is very even without shadowing or producing patterns. Having the ability to change the color of the light is a nice feature. THE ON/OFF SWITCH REMAINS ILLUMINATED EVEN WHEN NOT IN USE. NICE TO BE ABLE TO LOCATE THE SWITCH AT NIGHT IN THE DARK. NOT GREAT THAT IT PRODUCES A BLUE LIGHT ALL NIGHT LONG WHEN NOT IN USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you like a dark room you will need to cover it up. I also dislike ANY appliance that creates a parasitic drain and wastes energy when not in use. Many TV's are like this. A great way to advertise your product. Perfect for WASTING energy!

I bought this in November. Too late to try and return and this morning I decided to try it in my office. The head broke immediately. It’s heavy and was falling down as well. Don’t bother with this! Cheap.

Had this for about 6 months. Still working. But I'm knocking off one star because the cord is very thin. Like have you ever bought $1 ear phones at the dollar store? Then you know what I mean, it's that thin. I imagine one accidental tug or kinking the cord can render this useless, so I've been extremely careful with the cord placement. The attached photo shows 3 different cords for comparison. The top cord is from my mini fan. The middle cord is from my keyboard/keypad. They're the typical standard cord thickness seen around the house. While the bottom cord is from "Cyezcor Clip-On Light Ring" and it's very thin.

Wish I had found this a while back, as it would have saved me going through several lamps that were not exactly what I was looking for! It's a compact lamp with so much versatility. The neck is very flexible and yet maintains its shape without becoming unsupportive of the light ring. Easily clipped on to a shelf in my computer armoire. Very pleased with product.
