Note that I am only a week into the new install, so can not vouch for longevity as of yet. I purchased this item for my home office. The set up includes Router, WIFI, PC, and Wyze Security System Base power on the power + surge protected portion of the unit, and then have just one other item on Surge only portion. Highly recommend using the free CyberPower software to manage and observe the details of this back-up- its very good. Currently I am pulling only 75 watts total with an estimated back up time of 35 mins. when power goes down. I believe for the price and size it is well worth it, with the smaller footprint fitting neatly under my printer cart. Back in the old days a 700VA would require 4 to 5X the space as this unit to offer the same back up time- with not nearly as many features. Item of note here would be that I saw a lot of people ask how to turn the alarm beep off in a power outage, and didn't realize until they are suddenly in the dark having to try and figure it out. I looked it up, just 2 quick presses of the green power button will disable the alarm if/when that time comes. All in all I believe this item to be a quality, feature rich product for a SOHO environment. I read that there was some dismay regarding the Mfg warranty if the battery goes bad or in need of repair, so I spent the extra $ 8 for no questions asked warranty coverage. For essentially 10% of the total value its worth it for me to have worry-free service if ever needed for 36 months. Enjoy! ... show more

I got this on sale, so it was a great value for me. I use both CyberPower and APC, and happy with both. I like this unit, since it was the only one I found at this rating, that allows me to silence the alarm in advance (or after an outage begins), without connecting to a PC and loading software on a PC to save settings to the UPS. The power button is multi-purpose. Push the button twice quickly to mute alarm, and hold down for 2 seconds to power on or off. ... show more

About the only UPS that would fit into my tight space for the modem, router, secondary router, unmanaged switch, and VOIP phone system. I feel much better knowing that this expensive equipment is now protected from surges and brownouts. I was especially pleased to find a 90° plug to reduce the space needed as the initial picture showed a straight plug. It is not a "rotating" plug, but I was able to make it work. My outlet has the ground prong (round pin) down so the wire goes out at the "5 o'clock" position. I would have supplied a picture, but I didn't want to mess up my equipment by disconnecting everything... Very happy so far, and I would recommend this unit for such light work, or even for a mini computer and a medium (24") monitor. A powerful gaming rig and large monitor would drain this dry in a couple of minutes. ... show more

I had an older version of this unit that died, I guess of old age (7-8 years). This is new to me and hasn’t been truly tested (with an outage or surge) so I can’t rate it a 5. I have taken comfort in having this as both a back up power supply and surge protection.

I perform a test, limited to lowering the foot rests with the unit unplugged. The test was successful. However, I will be interested to see if this will work in real time with a sudden power outage. I called the company and explained my problem with my elderly parents needing to exit the chairs safely when there is a sudden power outage. The Tech with whom I spoke did not know if the ups would work and suggested that I do a test, with the ups unplugged (after fully charging the unit) ... show more

Pros: three year warranty - company appears to stand by their products; dual USB ports come in handy; reasonable form factor; seems well built Cons: This review is for home use only. Review would be more favorable for a business with a full time mechanical/IT support staff. Let's face it, generally home owners buy these power backups - surge suppressors out of an abundance of caution to protect sensitive gear, and they help provide a short power back-up during a brown or black out. That being said, like smoke detectors, most I suspect buy these, plug them in, and forget about them, until according to Murphy' law, they start chirping at 2:00 AM (never during the day ;-) ), usually with an indecipherable flashing sequence of lights and chirps, and no obvious way to silence the alarm. Really, at 2:00 AM, five years later I am really supposed to remember to push the power button quickly two times? Of course I saved the manual - but where?! The power button? Why isn't there an ALARM SILENCE button? What do the flashing lites and chirps mean? (Well, I suppose you could cover your unit in instructions with a label maker like I did!) There is ZERO excuse in 2022 for such a device not having a small display that states clearly "Status Normal," or "Ground Fault," or "Operating on battery only," or "Replace battery soon," or whatever. ... show more

This has been good battery backup. It is backing up 4 computers. It will only keep them up for about 30 minutes but most of our outages are for less them 5 minutes so did not get bigger one. Have not used tech support. Pretty much plug and play
