I've been having fun making some custom paracord rifle slings, and got these to mount on my handguard, but I noticed that the hole spacing is 20mm, and that is perfect for mounting on 2040 extrusion. I had 2 x 1m pieces of 80/20 left from a laser I built and a bunch of other hardware lying around, so I built an adjustable length jig and the QD mounts fit perfectly with their own t-nuts (you do have to slide the nuts in from the end, they are too wide to act like hammer-nuts) and I 3d printed some endcaps. I really like how well they lock into all of the offbrand QD sling connectors. (I haven't tried anything American made yet). I did put them on a rifle as well and they lock up nicely and feel very secure. So far, definitely worth the money. ... show more
