    • Not quite heavy enough :-(
They look and feel great but need to be heavier to truly hold longer cords taught. They're "ok" on smaller blinds that don't have much cord but on larger blinds (verticals over sliders) they barely keep the cord from hanging. Not worth returning - oh well.

We replaced several blinds and ditched most of the old weights. Ordered a pack of these and ended up using them on two windows. They are very light-weight and I don't think they would work well for blinds with long cords - such as used on a sliding glass door. Because they are so light, they don't hold the cord down with any "authority". There's no easy way of adding weight to them. On the plus side, they are pretty easy to install and the price is acceptable. ... show more

    • NOT A GOOD CHOICE for beaded-chain draw cords.
Although the device is large enough to accept many beaded-chain draw-cords, it will not pass the link used to connect the ends that connect the ends or permanently close the beaded cord. Also, for those beaded-chain draw-cords, which are commonly used on roller blinds and roller screens, if the cord is "permanently closed," there is no way to put this device on the draw cord, since IT DOES NOT OPEN to accept the cord. ... show more

    • These work really well and look nice, too!
When I received these accessories for my blinds, I couldn't figure out how to separate the two parts to be able install them. So, I emailed the Cutelec customer service and they were very responsive and helpful and sent me a video right away that showed how easy it is. The only reason I did not give a 5-star rating is because I had to use rubber gloves to get a good grip and lots of "elbow grease" to open the two-part accessory.
