My 4 year old wanted a piggy bank to start saving for things he desires. He picked this out himself and he loves it. The blue is a dark blue just as pictured and looks great. The functionality is perfect; it is so easy to put the coins in and take the coins out. With that, be careful with littles that can take the coins out. I had to place this higher so he couldn’t reach because he was easily taking the coins out. It can hold a decent amount of coins! This product is just as described and my kiddo loves it.
