I had a little bit of background stuff in the photos and was worried that would come through in the item, but it didn’t. I don’t do this kind of thing with photos often, but the process couldn’t have been easier and the results are amazing! The socks seem like good, heavy quality (we don’t do synthetic socks much but this is SO worth it!). And the dog-faces look even cuter when they’re all stretched out. I have the socks 4 stars because they made the my baby’s head look oddly huge. In other words, they did not properly crop his head/hair. Also, the socks does not have a lot of stretch to them and when they do stretch, it distorts the image and color of the sock. Maybe they should try to print on the sock while it is stretched to prevent the fade and distortion. Other than this, it’s a cute idea, good quality sock. Very thick. I gifted these socks to my friend. I use her cat's photo. The funny part is that I never notice that it has little bones, so it definitely goes better with dog faces (probably fish bones would go better with cats photos). Since I did not trim the edges of the photo I was afraid I was going to get the socks with the squared image, but they trimmed the silhouette nicely. They are nice and she loved them! ... show more
