We bought this for our RV when we are hooked up at the campsite. It fits perfectly on our stove. We love it. It gives us an electric option over propane and at 900 watts per burner, it is feasible for the generator, too.

This unit is a GOOD size. Works very well takes almost no time to heat up and cooks very well. Mine came with a small dent in front but it did come in original packing. Make sure you seal the protective coating on burners before use. Some reviews said it got hot to the touch all over, but mine is just warm like any kind of burner would. One thing is, with it being stainless it is difficult to keep it from looking smudged. One thing I DON'T LIKE is, it said it comes with skid proof feet NOT SO, feet are hard plastic and it slides way too easily. Otherwise a very good buy UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE After less than a year I am very UNHAPPY with this item. The stainless always looks smeared mo matter what I do. The whole unit gets very hot can actually burn you. The small burner makes a loud popping sound shen it cycles off and on. You MUST unplug when not using as it continually shuts off and on even if turned to off position. And it does get warm in off position warm enough to catch something touching it on fire. ... show more

This hot plate works well, I have cooked on it for a few weeks, and does what it should! It is a little slow to heat up, but works well for my needs. I have cooked burgers, steaks, pastas, veggies and various mixed foods. (I have not tried to fry stuff in oil, as I have a separate deep fat fryer for that). I have not used a thermometer, to know of actual temperature at different settings, but they seem to be easily adjusted to my cooking needs. Not sure if it would be good for frying in oil, or doing candies, someone else may be able to chime on on that. As far as durability, time will tell. ... ... show more

We had looked at dual-fuel ranges last year, but didn't make our decisions for various reasons. I'm glad we waited, because when we were recently forced to buy a new burner due to gas leaking problem and the gas pipes will cost me a lot to fix, we found this one. It works very well, and has a really good design. Not only that, this electric burner is also very easy to clean. I was trying to grill fish, i carelessly didn’t dry up the fish well. So as I dropped the fish onto the pan, lots oil was popping out, and everywhere was greasy and messy. I attached a picture of the burner after my cleaning. It is so easy to clean up as I used couple wipes and paper towel. The burner heating is pretty even and I love it when my water boils quickly, it makes lots cooking process much faster. I do NOT like that the burner has no heat protections, you need to use this burner very carefully. Overall, though, we really love this electric burner. There aren't too many dual fuel ranges, and this one looks and performs nicely! ... show more

I love the cast iron burners, portability of the unit, and easy cleanup. Perfect size for a small kitchen with limited space. Only complaint is the on/off temperature control knobs gets extremely hot to touch when one or both burners are being used. Understandable that the burners and plate surface with get hot but the knobs are not made with heat resistant material. ... show more

    • Great Electric Burner
We are doing a complete home remodel and we had to set up a temporary kitchen in our home. This has been a life saver and budget saver as we have only eaten out once in the last three weeks as we have no kitchen. It heats up quickly and accurate temperature control. Very happy with the purchase!
