Below is my original review. Amazon claims this is against their community standards. There is no explanation why and they want it edited. I will not. There is nothing vulgar, etc. Amazon need to be specific about their issue. I am the one providing the service of actually providing a review. I don't have to take the time to do so. Furthermore, rejecting over some unknown reason is ridiculous. I'm guessing they have an issue with the term "coccyx". If so, apparently there are morons reviewing things. This is the only way I can find to reply to them. My original, unchanged, review: It really helped with my coccyx pain after I heavily bruised it, much better than the donut that I tried to use for about a day. after reading the reviews I thought I would give it a try. but it is hard as a rock and it does not relieve my back pain. maybe it works for some people but not for me.     • Instant pain relief for bums that are black and blue from sitting too long!

The cushion came today and I used it right away for six hours. When I stood up to cook something delicious I was shocked! to feel zero pain getting up from the chair!! I don't know where the relief came from, because the cushion is not as soft as the one I have been using for a year. I have been replacing cushions every few months in a search for a cushion that would give support while providing softness. The one that I have been using for a year is very soft and provides good support but I have back of thighs, and lower back pain whenever I get up. Sometimes my legs go numb while I am sitting. It will be permanently replaced by CushZone Gel cushion. I do wish the CushZone could have a little more softness, and I am thinking of adding another soft cushion on top of it. In the meanwhile I will be ordering three more CushZone cushions. Put simply I am showing how much I value the CushZone cusions by spending my dollars on this brand. Money talks. ... show more

I felt compelled to write a review in case I was not the only one using this backwards. I was completely surprised by all of the good reviews and thought that I must be missing something. I had been using this for a week and felt as if it flattened out very quickly and caused me more pain than I was in before. So I felt pretty dumb when I realized that I had the open end toward the front of my chair instead of the back of the chair. I stupidly assumed the name of the cushion would face out and never considered I had it backwards. Once I turned this around the correct way it was definitely much more comfortable. I am glad I realized my mistake before giving it a bad review. I hope this helps others who may have made the same mistake. ... show more

Nice big seat cushion. Does it work? Yest. Is it comfortable Yes? Useable out of box....not really. Mines came with a strange chemical smell that smells like mildew. Had to soak in detergent and wash thoroughly before it is going to be of any use. Needs better dry storage before sale or they really need to check the chemical smell. ... show more
