On this one I agree with some other reviews in that it takes a bit to set up, but the options you have to customize the whole day and night are great. I absolutely love this aquarium light and use different versions on a few tanks. My 180 gallon Oscar tank looks great with this light in place. It's bright, has some great functions, and is solid. Even stretch across the full 6 feet of tank it does not bend or bow, and it's very well made. I do wish it had a little bit more brightness when I want it, but for 99% of the time it's more than enough. I love this product. It fits inside the upper canopy and lights the aquarium from top to bottom. My tank is a 210 gallon so it’s 72.5 inches across. If it didn’t have the canopy on it would still fit because I had the legs resting on the tank rim prior to replacing the wooden canopy. It’s beautiful and the dynamic lighting settings are so fun. Lights are beautiful, had a slight issue with the timer but customer service immediately sent a replacement. Only issue is with remote timer options. You can run a or b. Timer a allows you to set from 6 preset programs to run throughout the day which would have been perfect except there is no regular daylight option?? Timer A allow you to run a standard 24 hour mode, sunset, daylight, sunset, moonlight. I didn’t want my fish only tank to run full on all day so I adjusted the daylight setting which means either I have to manually increase all the colors to turn it up when I am home or redefine moonlight to full daylight mode so I could have one button switch to full brightness. So now if I run timer b it goes from sunset into my modified moonlight mode which is no good. No way to turn the moonlight off from timer b and it doesn’t list how long it last before it shuts down. Timer A would have been perfect if it had a daylight mode option so I could change things up for the fish throughout the day. So I have been using timer b then switching to my modified moonlight mode when I get home, switch to my reduced daylight then starry night then off. I switch it on in the morning before work which unfortunately goes into starry night for a second then resume the timer A program which shuts the light down until my one time. ... show more

Update review (27/01/23): The fixture is still working fine but a very clear precipitation is forming inside the lamp and also the clear film that “protect” against the water is clearly dented as seen on photos. Hopefully will last. Very excited to receive this product after taking quite a time before picking this one among other light fixture at first, the frame has a white residues that it very difficult to rub off. Second I noticed one of the metal extenders is bended and the area that hold the extender is broken. (See attached photos). The fixture has very powerful light. Colorful and not difficult to setup. However, IR sensor to receive signals is very weak. You have to connect the extension cable and get a better signal. The power connector with the timer control is very loose, if I move the control to adjust its position the light can easily turned off and I will have to setup the controller’s time again. Regarding the “water resistant “ feature will have to wait for a few weeks to see if it is up to its claims. ... show more

Bought this for my 220 gallon tropical fish tank. Light could be a bit brighter, but given its a 220 it is sufficient for my set up. The moon and dusk feature work really well. Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase. Only downside I have which is minimal is programming which I haven’t used yet. For me pushing a button on a controller isn’t that big of a deal. 8/10 ... show more
