I wear the Gaurdian cmg for 7 days. I was super impressed with these patches the first week that I thought it was a fluke. So I waited to leave a review until I had tried it another week. This is my second patch and again it withheld a week of activity, workouts, and 2 pool visits. I will definitely keep using these patches. I have this patch on the inner side of my left arm and the first patch I had it placed on the outter side of my right arm. As you can see in the 2nd picture there is a very small portion that has come up over the 7 days of wear but this is nothing compared to other brands of patches I have tried over the years. When I was needing to remove the patch it peeled off fairly easy and with little residual stick left off my arm (as seen in the 3rd picture). ... show more

Love the patches they work great with covering my Medtronic sensor. Anyone that is diabetic and uses a Medtronic insulin pump sensor this is a good decorative tape to use I love it works great.

These are MASSIVE. The pic made me think that they had some sort of backing where the sensor goes but it’s adhesive on the entire thing. I put the first one on and had to change it the next day because it was coming off on the bottom. As I was taking it off, it almost pulled off my sensor. I never knew I needed this patch! It became apparent, real quick, that I could not round corners without scraping the back of my arm and tearing out my Dexcom 7 sensors! I'm not much better about exiting cars and avoiding seatbelt proximity. This patch saved my sensors, arm patch of skin, and money to replace damaged sensor! Ridiculous as that all sounds, it's no word of a lie. My Endocrinologist saw the patch and asked me about it, and began recommending it to her other patients at Cleveland Clinic!     • I didn’t notice the palm trees and flamingos but the patches generally work fine.

So I’ll admit I’m dumb…I didn’t look at the design closely enough to realize it was palm trees and flamingos until i ordered it and it arrived which is just generally not at all my vibe so…whoops…that’s totally my fault and not at all a fault of the product itself which may screw my rating just a little bit. I just thought they were more random abstract shapes 😅 But with that being said as someone that is allergic to adhesives and even the ones meant to be for “sensitive skin” often still give me a rash. I’ve only used a couple of these patches so I can’t speak to too much long term but I didn’t have any “bad” reactions to these patches just maybe some mild reaction at the edges at worst maybe which is pretty common for me with any bandage like product so I would consider this to be not terrible for those that have sensitive skin or adhesive allergies. As for how well they work/last…eh they’re fine. I haven’t tried many brands to compare to but these basically worked on par I would say. Edges started lifting up a couple days in but generally the rest of the patch stayed for the rest of the duration of my sensor. I will say that I did notice that compared to other brands I’ve tried it was easier to peel this off of the actual transmitter without leaving a ton of residue behind and any residue left was easier to get rid of and clean up compared to some other brands. They’re not too difficult to put on by yourself either. (note: I have a Medtronic Gaurdian CGM that I always wear on my arm. I also always use barrier wipes and sometimes that’s still just not enough to prevent reactions with certain adhesives. My review is exclusively from the perspective of using barrier wipes so I can’t say how well these work or cause reactions without the use of barrier wipes) ... show more

Patterns on these are not really my thing they don't go with anything in my wardrobe and they're a bit too busy but, curad adhesive does not cause skin irritation for me one of the few adhesives that doesn't and these are no exception. They are quite large and easily cover the biosensor and overpatch and they stick all right they aren't super super sticky I put my sensor in an unfortunate spot and was having trouble getting anything to adhere but these lasted three or four days which is much longer than the original overpatch. didn't block the signal from The biosensor at all. And you get a lot in the box so I would buy them again. ... show more

    • So far it’s been good for the most part

These over patches are basically the adhesive fabric used for stick on bandages. They seem to hold on for a long time, I have been able to wear the cgm (stelo) for the full 2 weeks without sensor failure. The patch will start to come loose on the edges towards the end of the two weeks, however it is still securely stuck to the sensor. Also, the first couple of showers the adhesive stopped sticking, but this resolved itself after it dried. I’m giving it 4 stars because it comes loose after the first couple of showers, but since it sticks better after it dries, I won’t complain about it. After the second time it stayed on after it dried and I have had anything else happen until it started loosening on the edges. ... show more
