I bought this in summer of 2022 and wanted to give it time and years of use before I wrote a review. I try to make my reviews thoughtful, the kind of review I love to read before I buy a product. I guess I didn't fully realize that the reason you itch after a mosquito bite is because your immune system is reacting to the mosquito's saliva. Following that logic, getting the saliva OUT is the only real way to get relief from the itchiness. In the past, I've damaged my skin from scratching bug bites, but not anymore. If your bug bite is super fresh, as in you catch it within a few minutes, you can use the tool to suction the saliva out. If not, the tool includes a small scraper for the top of the bug bite and then you suction. Depending on the size of the bite, there are 2 sizes of suction. It weighs nothing and takes up very little space so this tool comes with us on all of our trips and I'm always grateful we had it. Itchy bug bites heal MUCH faster with it.

I ordered 6 of these because when we come in from outside everyone is clamoring for them. My family is all allergic to mosquitos. As a child I had huge welts all over my body all summer and my children had the same issue. The first magical thing we discovered was applie cider vinegar. Hit the bites with that right away and it makes them almost disappear. Then we discovered this gadget. I didn't believe it could work, quite honestly, but we gave it a try and it is like a little miracle worker. We do still usually put vinegar on bites as well, because we know that getting to them right away is key. Then we use this gadget. That said, my husband often skips the vinegar and goes right for the but bite thing. Either way, this thing makes them disappear. We recently learned that you can take the end off and turn it around for hard to get to places! I had no idea, but it has really helped because the bigger end doesn't work on fingers and most of your hand. Everyone should have one of these - and I swear, I'm not at all involved with the company.

This thing works pretty good. However, today I got a mosquito bite on my face. I thought I would try this and I only had it on for a few seconds, used it as normal, and it left a huge purple bruise on my face! I have an interview in 2 days *cries*. Fine for other parts of your body though!

I bought this because my daughter has harsh reactions to bug bites and has been in the ER for fire ant bites so i decided to get everything i could for summertime. Exactly 1 day ago this was delivered and TODAY a wasp decided to sting my husband and my 2 year old on her hand! we used the bug bite thing, washed the sting and also gave liquid benadryl. After a nap, she's a happy baby and there's no physical evidence of a wasp sting. I'm about to buy some for my car, for daddy's car, for grandmas house... it works yall. It seems gimmicky or like..does that really work? but it's NOT and this saved the day.

I love this thing so much and have bought many, but it is frustrating that the plastic end piece frequently cracks, rendering it useless. I wish there was one with a metal end cap or similar where it won’t break in my bag or purse.

I was skeptical about the hype I was seeing on TikTok but I have such bad reactions to mosquito bites that I thought I’d give it a try. So far, I’ve tried it on six different mosquito bites and it has actually worked amazingly. I’m not sure what the exact directions are, but I do 20-30 seconds three times on a bite. It ends up looking like you have a weird hickey at first, but I don’t even care. The redness and local swelling go down within an hour or two. And there is no itching, swelling or redness the following day (like I usually have.). I’m buying a few more to have handy in more places. And probably going to buy one for my mom too!

This is hands-down one of my favorite little finds. I initially bought just one to try it out, but I was so impressed with how well it worked that I ended up getting one in nearly every color. I keep one in my purse, one in the car, and the others stashed in different rooms around the house. It’s not a miracle cure, but it definitely helps take the edge off itching and swelling when I get bit. I love having it on hand, especially in the Florida heat where bug bites are just a way of life.

I always forget to write a review but I had to for this thing. Mosquitos love to bite me and I can't ever help but scratch so much I end up with little scabs all over me. I was bit 3x last night and it took me a few minutes to realize it. I used the Bug Bite Thing and it felt nice and relieved the itching! Best thing I've ever purchased for myself.
