I’m really impressed with the Cumbor retractable gates. The set of two is perfect for keeping my dog safely contained in different areas of the house. Safety Gate works great. It's easy to install and easy to use just make sure the gate and the latches are level or it can be hard to latch. That's the only thing I noticed but once we fixed it and made sure the latches were the exact same height across from gate it latched perfectly! We use it to keep our big dogs out of the living area while we do playtime on the floor with the baby. Very lightweight but sturdy at the Sametime. It also retracts and I pulls out easily.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Ratings are accurate. Very good product. Easy to install. Locking button works very well. Looks good also. It’s out of the way when installed but there when u need it. I have one at top and one at bottom of steps. I highly recommend these baby gates.

This has been great for our 1 year old and our husky! The locking feature is sturdy and they mesh holds up to being pushed against. We've been using for a couple months and there's been no issues..I was worried the mesh would stretch out, and it hasn't. Wipes clean easily..install was easy.

This gate was originally purchased 8 months ago and after only a few months, the bracket broke off of the wall. We did secure it with a drywall anchor and the plastic cracked and broke. Upon writing the company for a replacement t bracket they got back to me very quickly and will send me not only a replacement bracket but a new gate as well. I really appreciate the fact that they were so attentive to what I was asking for. I really don’t need a gate but they are sending all new brackets and gates and that is so appreciated for the utmost of safety. Thank you so much! That gate is great, looks nice and clean and works like a charm.

This is a perfectly fine mesh-style baby/dog gate. Installation was a breeze, especially with its included paper guides. It also seems quite sturdy, and there's essentially no gap along the floor. I use it at the top of my stairs, where the specific angles would make a more traditional baby gate challenging to install. It fits there great. There are, however, two drawbacks that make it fairly unpleasant to use: 1) The winding mechanism is louder than I expected, and the retraction feels uneven. In most places this might not be an issue, but it's positioned outside the nursery and noise management is a real concern. 2) There's a little handle along the vertical length of the mesh to make it easier to pull. This can be hard to reach from one side, so I really wish there was a similar handle along the top length. It wouldn't have to be rigid, but a loop of fabric would definitely make it less likely for a person to lose their grip, causing the whole thing to retract quickly and loudly. These aren't big enough issues to merit a return (and could be specific to my use), but I might have done extra research had I been aware.
