  • Love this.
Color: Black
I love this. If you choose the grinder option. It’s will grind to the exact amount needed. However. It does get grinds everywhere. Kinda hard to keep grinds out of your coffee. I have a little tea strainer to filter out grinds. Cups work great. It makes great coffee. I have really enjoyed this.

  • Amazing first single-cup coffee brewer!
Color: Black
This is THE BEST coffee maker! Nothing was wrong with the old Cuisinart 14-cup maker, but living alone, I found that often I just didn't need a giant pot of coffee. I didn't want to get something that only uses capsules, so this drew my attention because of the "use your own" coffee feature. It's surprisingly great for the price! It holds a larger amount of water than expected (about three good-sized cups worth). It's pretty quiet, and the coffee brews hot (about an 8 out of 10 on the temperature). The design is pretty modern, and it doesn't take up much space on my counter. I think it will last quite a while, as it's been making me a lot of coffee over the last few months. I love that the grinder is helping me go through so many bags of coffee beans! ... show more

  • Makes a good cup, easy to use, but...
Color: Black
It's a good single cup coffee maker, with some flaws... To be transparent around my rating, I bought two of these, so the flaws were not enough to keep me from buying another one when it dialed, but it did fail after a year and some months of moderate to heavy use (5-6 cups a day) The Bean hopper is large enough for several good cups of coffee. If I had to be critical, I wish the container side raised up a touch over the motor hub, as there's competition for space as you fill beans. The motor takes up 50% of the space, so beans bounce off it like it's their last shot at freedom. The first device would always make a sound like it's got a pump running quietly. After a while, all the lights would blink and needed to be unplugged. Coffee cup size would at some point become inconsistent... Eventually, this would be the startup ritual... until something inside finally gave up and I work to water all over the counter and the coffee maker inoperable. After replacing it, it's back to the well functioning single cup I've enjoyed. We will see if this is a chronic issue or just a single worn out unit and update from there. Other than those flaws, it's a really good sing cup maker with an integrated grinder! Coffee temperature: Not quite boiling hot, you can get to drinking immediately Durability: Ish. First one lasted a bit over a year. Taste: Makes a good cup. Your beans will come through. Size: It's compact and easily desk worthy. Fits any countertop. ... show more

  • Worked well for over a year before issues cropped up. Maintenance is an absolute pain.
Color: Black
I bought this Oct 2023, and started having issues February 2025. Until that point it was pretty decent. This was my first coffee machine as I went from powdered instant coffee to grinding my own beans. The reservoir is enough for about four 10 oz cups of coffee, which is decent for what I drink in a day. The machine "forces" you to descale it periodically (about every 6 months for me) which can be annoying but is probably a good practice regardless. The space under the brew head is too short to place a 20 oz Yeti-style travel mug, and the drip tray is a little more narrow than I'd like. I have a wider ~30 oz mug, for those really rough days, that does fit, but precariously. The grind size or duration is not adjustable, which is a bit of an annoyance because the metal filter basket the reusable pod comes with leaves a fine silt of grounds in the bottom of the mug. I added paper filters to prevent this, but it slightly diminishes the space for grounds in the filter basket. This means the automatic grind shutoff, which is calibrated for the metal filter basket, overflows the filter. The grinder can be shut off manually though so that is how I deal with it. My main issue with the machine is the cleanliness. After about 15 months of ownership, when using either disposable k cups or the reusable cup, water has started overflowing the top of said cup, where the needle pierces the lid, flooding the brew head area with water and coffee grounds. This wouldn't be awful in itself, but it leads to unfixable issues. The lid of the brew head is not removable, which means all the coffee grounds that float back in the chamber are very difficult to clean out (pictured). I tried rinsing them out by pouring water in the area and letting the water and grounds float to the drains located around the pod holder, only to realize the water was disappearing elsewhere. The water, and presumably coffee grounds, were leaking INTO the sealed part of the machine. There's now water and grounds inside an inaccessible part of the sealed machine, which will definitely lead to nastiness down the road. Cleaning the bean hopper is also very difficult since it is fixed in place, and inside of the hopper is a large gear head that transfers power to the removable grinding head. Attached is a picture that shows I can barely get my fingers half way down the hopper in the most open part, let alone where all the rigid supports are that make plenty of nooks and crannies. Unfortunately if I can't fix the overflow issue, I'll eventually have to replace this $100+ machine after only about a year and a half. Even if I can solve it, due to the inability to clean parts of it, it may be replaced before two years is up. Thankfully the stuck coffee grounds won't have an awful smell, at least for now. ... show more

  • Great for those who want fresh brew anytime of day
Color: Black
We prefer grinding fresh beans, but we all have different schedules. This seemed a perfect solution. This coffee maker meets our needs. It is a two step process. 10-15 seconds to grind beans into the brew cup and then another minute and 30 seconds to brew the coffee. Coffee is great. Same amount of beans, different volume. 8,10, and 12 ounces. The less volume the stronger the brew. We prefer the 10 ounce brew. Great for those who want a fresh brewed cup of coffee at different times of day. ... show more
