I’ve owned the Cuisinart CPZ 120 for two years, and it has quietly become the most reliable, high performance pizza tool in my kitchen. Having made hundreds of pizzas with it I certainly got my money’s worth and people say to me all the time, “Where’d you get this pizza? It’s the best pizza I’ve ever had.” They’re shocked when I tell them I have a Cuisinart home pizza oven. Initially I treated it like a novelty appliance to use indoors during the winter months when I couldn’t use my fancy wood fired pizza oven outside. But over time, I realized it behaves like a miniature deck oven, fast preheat, consistent heat balance, and a chamber that responded even more beautifully when I added a steel pizza pan ($30). The magic of this oven is its geometry: it’s small enough to heat up quickly (15 minutes), but large enough to do 12” pies, allow airflow around a steel pan, and to reach temperatures in the 700-degree range to make traditional Neopolitan pizza, crispy NY and New Have setyle, and Detroit pan pizzas. Once I added a cast steel pan, the entire thermal profile changed. Suddenly I were getting even crispier, slice shop bottoms, even melted cheese, and repeatable results that rivaled and exceeded my outdoor oven. I also have quick recovery between pizza and are back up to temperature in 5 minutes, which is about how long it takes me to get my next pizza ready. The Cuisinart recovers heat quickly, handles par baked and frozen pies better than anything else I own, and produces a texture that feels like a professional oven. After two years of heavy duty use it still performs like day one, nothing has warped, failed, or degraded. Even if you don’t pair it with a steel pan, this is a precision pizza instrument, not a gadget. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get into serious pizza making and produce consistent, better than restaurant quality results without the hassle of propane or wood. It's so nice to have an indoor pizza oven! The exterior does not get super hot, the oven does not take up much space, and it is great for baking bread, too. It also heats up very quickly! I bought this as a gift and I have zero regrets.

Good compromise between convenience, appearance, and size of pizza. Really nice for a 12" pizza! Only takes like 5-7 min per pizza. Even though 12" pizza is on the small side (and who doesn't like larger slices?) It makes great pizzas, and you can start eating and enjoying one while next one is in the oven. Making larger pizzas is a bigger investment of money and time. It's not really a big hassle to make 2-3 small pizzas instead of a larger one. You can set time & temp for many styles. It has a nice indoor light, great nice pizza paddle, stone, tray. And summary settings instructions on the unit, so you don't need the booklet all the time. They nailed the cosmetics and functionality. Warm-up time is the same as typical (even outdoor propane ovens have a substantial pre-heat time). To have something this good looking, right there in on your kitchen counter, for quick easy use is just cool. The perfect location in our kitchen is under the angled corner cabinet. That way it presents the cool face of the unit without awkwardly protruding. And makes the kitchen look upscale. ... show more

This is a very nice oven. It does a very good job of cooking pizza. If you want a crispy crust this is a great way to get it. The high temp that the oven can attain makes a big difference. Plus, you could also use it to bake or cook other foods. My only issue is that it is a bit small. If it had a little more height, it would be amazing for baking rustic bread. That being said it makes great ciabatta bread.. I have even baked brownies in it by removing the pizza stone. The oven is basically a turbo charged convection oven. I’ve now owned the Cuisinart Indoor Pizza Oven for a full year, and it’s still working perfectly. I use it regularly, and it has consistently delivered great results without any performance issues. It heats up quickly, bakes 12-inch pizzas in just minutes, and fits easily on the countertop without taking over the entire kitchen. The high heat makes a real difference. You can achieve beautifully crisp crust with good browning and even a bit of char, which is hard to replicate in a standard home oven. What’s impressed me most is the reliability. After a year of steady use, it heats evenly, the controls still function smoothly, and nothing feels worn out or flimsy. It has held up far better than many small appliances I’ve owned. If you’re looking for an indoor pizza oven that actually gets hot enough to make a difference and holds up over time, I would absolutely recommend this one. I’m not an amateur when it comes to homemade pizza. While the idea of having a home pizza oven is appealing. The pizza stone in this oven is rough and not seasoned. It’s perfect for folding in half what would have otherwise been a perfect homemade pizza. That 700 degree hot rough pizza-stone grabs the dough like glue and then you get to shake all the toppings off and smoke your kitchen up while you burn yourself. Also the pizza peel it comes with it totally useless other than its use to scrape the burned dough and toppings off the pizza-stone once your pizza has been ruined. ... show more
