The heel is sturdy, and the soles aren't too smooth and slippery. The quality is okay, the faux leather is shiny but easily fixed with some rubbing alcohol or mattifying spray.

These boots run small. I ordered my regular size and had to return/exchange for a size up. Both the first and second purchase came in a timely manner, and the return and the credit to my account was handled swiftly. For the money, these boots look expensive, are comfortable and fit well. I know they are not leather, but all things considered, I "look fantastic in my boots of Chinese plastic" (a nod to the song by the Pretenders for all us folk old enough to know who I am referring to)!

I have ordered many pairs of boots to replace the ones I have had for many years. I have large calves so that’s always an issue. I wear an 8 or 8.5 in shoes . I ordered a 9 in these boots and they are perfect!

Was not as expected with descriptions with heights measurements to knee as reported. Bought as gift to give in January for Birthday back in December...Birthday gathering was delayed due to COVID and set up for 02/05...didn't fit or like...so stuck with them. Cannot return.

I loved these boots, I got them for new years and they were soooo comfortable! I have very large calves so I was worried at first that they wouldn’t fit! For reference I got a size 9.5 shoe and my calves are 17 inches in circumference and they fit!
