Love this griddle. Cheaper than black stone but just as good. Definitely need to pay attention to the first time using it. Must burn off the coating first and then season it. I use it on low-med to cook usually. It can get hot!! Also be careful on putting anything on the side trays that’s plastic. It heats up on the sides too. So I just try not to use them except for utensils Also make sure to order the cover same day. There is nothing covering it when not in use. It’s a good height and overall it will cook very evenly. Also keep in mind that meat will NOT taste the same as being cooked on a grill. Cooking burgers and dogs are so much easier. You can cook a bunch at a time. I don’t have any issues with it. Love cooking breakfast on it the most. Keep your oil nearby. You will have to keep it oiled when cooking things like eggs or potatoes. They stick easily. Highly recommend this grill. I use the griddle to cook several items at an outdoor music venue. The griddle is portable, but i store it outside due to lack of indoor storge space. The griddle will start to rust, but cleans up easily when re-seasoned. I would reccomend purchasing a cover if you intend to store it outdoors as it will keep the griddle surface in better shape. ... show more

We bought this griddle mainly to take camping with us. This is a great griddle for the price and does exactly what its supposed to do. I will say it is a little on the short side, I am 5'3 and can cook comfortably on it. My husband, though, is 6'2 and has to bend slightly. The 'foldable' capability is not as easy as it may seem. If you want to fold it you cannot have the side trays or the underneath tray on. We ended up not folding it at all and just lifting it into the bed of the truck each time which hasn't been an issue. I did lose one of the grease collection cups, simply emailed the customer service department at the address listed in the owners manual and got a response that day with promise of shipment of a replacement.
