  • Great 5G router
Great router for using with a sim card. Very easy to setup as long as you have an open sim card, and can handle a lot of download / upload, very fast signal response times. There are many options for antennas and mounting options, only drawback is that it has a wall-wart that you will need to have plugged in for it to operate. ... show more

  • Seamless T-mobile compatibility, very high quality.
I’ve been using the Cudy 5G WiFi Router with my T-Mobile SIM card, and it has been an excellent performer. Setup was a breeze — popped in my SIM, and within minutes, I had high-speed internet running without needing to mess with APN settings. The router detected T-Mobile’s network automatically and delivered strong 5G and LTE speeds. What impressed me most is the stability of the connection. Even during peak hours, I’ve consistently seen fast download and upload speeds with minimal drops. The WiFi range covers my entire home (about 2,000 sq ft), and the dual-band functionality allows me to split heavy and light devices between the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Another huge plus is the router’s ability to support multiple users. I regularly have several devices streaming, gaming, and working remotely at the same time, and this router handles the load without a hiccup. Build quality feels premium, and the interface is user-friendly, with plenty of customization options like port forwarding and VPN support. If you’re looking for a plug-and-play 5G solution with T-Mobile or any other GSM provider, this is a reliable and cost-effective choice. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a dependable alternative to traditional wired internet. ... show more

  • DID NOT WORK
NEWEST UPDATE: Tried for a thrid time. Using it in line as my Starlink router. Worked fine until 2 days after my return window. Now I can no longer login in with a password and I can no longer connect. Can't get support from Cudy on this either. E-mail gets me no reply. New update. Tried a 2nd one of these Cudy routers. Again it did not work with AT&T. Again Cudy support was non existing. My LTE 18 Cuddy works great. It sets up and works with almost no effort on my part. This New 5G NR NSA AX3000 Cudy router is useless and at this point I think it can't work with AT&T as clamied. I can not recomend this router to anyone. Mostly due to Cudies very sorry support. Worst I have found yet. Update: I have tried to make this work with AT&T 2 times now. No luck. Cudy support is non existing and Cudy support doesn't doesn't reply to there on line support page. . If there is an issue you can e-mail them and hope for a reply but you will never get a reply. Over a week now with 3 support e-mails sent in with no reply. I can only say you take your chances with these guys. I would recomend looking at another make. Cudy support just sucks the big one. I have to return mine. It would not work no matter what I did. It would not connect to AT&T's network which I know works just fine. I have the Cudy LT18 router and get very good speeds with it . When I move the same sim card to the new Cudy 5G NR SA NSA AX3000 it fails to connect to AT&T no matter what I try. The IMEI numbers was veryfied two times and I still could not get the thing to come up and work. I went back to using my LT18 with that same Sim Card. It is solid and performs well. What was I thinking buying this Cudy 5G ? It is a failure for me. Back it will go. Cudy still makes a great router ,but mine was a dud this time. ... show more

  • Cellular Router
This is my 3rd Cudy cellular router (Two 4G and 1 5g) very happy with their capability and performance. I did have to add an external antenna. The cell tower is about 4 miles from my house and the router is indoors. The antennas that came with the router were not sufficient. I added an external directional antenna (also inside the house) and everything works well. ... show more

  • Was easy to get working
The web browser is accessed by 192.168.10.1, enter the password on the label. Need an activated SIM card and IMEI from a donor device that supports 5G and 4G to use those bands, or use the default IMEI. Need to know the carrier APN (access point name) for the plan purchased, leaving it to auto didn't work for me, as expected. I left most settings at default. I changed TTL. I selected each band the carrier is reported to use for signal strength, left weak or unused bands unchecked. The IMEI is set with an AT Commands: AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI" substitute IMEI in the quotes with the 15 digit number. You should be able to use the built-in IMEI with an appropriate carrier Cellular Router plan, the preferred use I would think over trying to use a phone plan and IMEI. The bands are in the General-APN section, click on the Band switch and the signal strength is shown from Home-5G status box, select more info. I set the APN by selecting Manual for slot 1 where I put the SIM. I left the other settings as they appeared, other than entering the APN (case sensitive I believe). ... show more

  • this little box is nice
i'm giving it 5 for now......but the rubber doesn't hit the road till May when I will connect to an AIS cell network in Thailand....that being said, unboxed it today for wan/lan and wifi testing......the device is cellular centric, I had to disable cell and enable "wan/lan switch" at two different locations on the web interface. Graphically easy enough to find though. And the transition went smoothly. If i run into trouble when I implement cellular on this unit in Thailand, well as Arnold would say "I'll be back" if no probs...I'll just settle off into the sunset ... show more
