It works well for making stew, rice, and steaming. The problem with it is that when there is no liquid left, there is no automatic shut off or sound warning. The heating is constantly on but the system can't pressure. This has a risk of burning food. In an instant pot, the system shuts off and there's an indication of food burning. For this reason, I wouldn't use this system or leave it on keep warm if there is nobody around. It makes it more difficult to pre-make meals in this case.     • Died after 3 months days after the Amazon Return Policy
I liked the product when it worked. However, for a cooker to only last 3 months is simply not acceptable. I've contacted Amazon and they were no help. They sent me to the Manufacturer to negotiate their one-year warranty where I have to pay the postage on the return. I am not pleased that the failure occurred midway through a beef soup cooking, and unfortunately when I discovered it the food was already not safe to eat as it spent too long in the danger zone.
