  • Cardio game changer for remote workers
This is just the absolute best low intensity cardio machine money can buy, but like any piece of technology, you NEED to be cautious in terms of the HOW you use it and HOW LONG you use it. This is my 2nd Cubii (first one I had was the Red & Black version with no LCD screen, but had bluetooth to sync everything to the Cubii app back in the day, now this is my 2nd purchase with the same features.) I ended up giving away my first one, because while I made it through half of year of amazing progress, I ended up doing near-permanent damage to my lower back, and was in excruciating pain. Doctor said I had to stop the Cubii or I would be paralyzed (jokingly of course, but basically would need surgery to put the spinal plates back together if I continued down that path). Years later, I purchased a lumbar support for my gaming chair (you know, those chairs that look like bucket seats in racing cars) at random, thinking it would help me better my posture and spinal alignment over time and it certainly did! So I decided to purchase this product again since I really needed something to burn calories while working the long hours I typically work 8-10 hours depending on the amount of tickets/cases we receive in our queue and projects outside of that, because once I'm done with work, I'm just mentally too exhausted to do anything else in my current physical condition (I'm in good shape, like I look like I used to bodybuild, but have extra fat layered on), so I wanted something to be able to multi-task because I hate doing cardio and this device is just the golden ticket, in my opinion. Fair warning though, DO NOT and I repeat, DO. NOT. try to exceed burning over 500 calories on this device in a single day. I have attached a photo of me hitting 1000 calories after my first 8 hour work day (THAT I DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING) and while I was proud of that moment, I was also in an enormous amount of pain in my left Achilles tendon, and turns out I had actually torn it and couldn't walk for an entire week. I recommend 500 calories max, because your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) - 500 calories is the maximum you should be cutting for your deficit for weight loss. So if you do the math, 1,000 Calories (-500 from the cubii, and -500 from your diet) x 7 Days = 7,000 Calories = -2 Pounds of Body Fat per week, which is the MAXIMUM amount of weight you should be losing per week. If you are losing more than that, you're going to end up with skin hanging off of you and that requires surgery to correct which is expensive and I don't think anybody enjoys surgery, I sure as heck don't. That's why you see all these stories online of people who lose weight super quick and then end up having to get surgery. ... show more

  • This does the trick!
I live in the Midwest so winters can be brutal. I walk a lot in the summer but can't in the winter due to weather. I also work from home. I purchased this Cubii so I would be able to get steps and burn calories for the winter. I have to say, it is much more than I expected. I'm definitely getting at least 10,000 steps a day and I am able to burn calories. I keep it under my desk during my work day and on weekends move it to my living room (it is a little heavy, but I am able to lift it up properly by the handle and move it as necessary). It shipped on time and was very easy to assemble. It also works well with my Fitbit (hint, I put the Fitbit on my shoe via shoelace so it is able to count the steps). I am overall very happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • Good product
I am using this to help me build up my strength after chemo. It’s easy to use and like that it’s not huge, so doesn’t take up much space. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because we have had trouble with it getting it to use along with their app. We have not had success with that. For the machine itself I would give that a 5. ... show more

  • Works as advertised.
Easy as pie to assemble and just as easy to use. A product that works as advertised. I expect to be doing the Cha-Cha again by next week. I'm 88 years old, by the way. It's very quiet, almost silent - I can't hear it over the TV when in use. I'm very pleased with this product so far.

  • DOA
My rating is ZERO STARS but since that isnt an option i had to select one. Product was dead on arrival. Wouldn't charge or power on. Tried multiple cables, plugs and outlets. Per their support, the only recourse is to return it. Needless to say I will get a refund and find a less expensive replacement and save some money. Cannot recommend and will not buy again. ... show more

  • Amazing More Then I Ever Thought
ok so i finally received the Cubii Jr+1 and it looks awesome I connected the screws and everything is assembled btw i's really heavy and the mat isn't strong enough to hold might have bad mat , but this review is about the unit not the weight of it or the mat the unit itself , I love it , I've been using for sometime and I personally wasn't sure how it will be in the beginning I felt a lil weird considering I'm a big guy and totally out of shape so it was a bit hard at start but it gradually becoming easier over time and it's much easier then using a cycle or recumbent , I like it because I'm a long sitter not for work just in general , the fact I can do this while exercising is a dream come true , when I first received it I didn't like it that it was so damn heavy but that's as I think the extra might help to keep it place but you'll need a good mat to guarantee it , about the mat that came with this honestly been trying for a while it doesn't hold it well , so I may have to find another mat that will do the job , I wanted to mention that incase it might help others , make sure when you get it to connect the USB make sure it's connect to a properly good outlet , but to be clear i give this a 5 star for the unit not the mat or weight , but everything else is perfect. ... show more

  • A lot of function for the price, like the support for two different users.
We purchased this device for my wife to use after knee surgery, and for me to use on days when my knees are too sore to use my treadmill. Using it with iFit in disconnected mode. Note that the APP *cannot* adjust the resistance - you have to manually turn the knob (we expected that based on research of the device). Really like that it supports two users in the App and on the device. ... show more
