Surprised by the nice tight bass. Overall a great subwoofer for the money. I did this combined with the CT Sounds 700 amp in my WRX with factory Harmon Kardon system. This is replacing my stock subwoofer which has zero ability to create any hard hits. Techno tracks with solid hitting bass hit you nice and hard. More than you would expect from a single 10 inch sub. If you do not mind brand X products - this sub offers outstanding value for the money. The bass now hits hard enough that coins on the roof of the car will rattle. Additionally - it does not sound. like loose flubbery bass. Tighter than you would expect from a budget ported box. Construction is very nice. Well its pretty loud for a 10. Decent well rounded sound profile. So many subs available I cant say for certain if there is better for the price or overall durability. Its not super exspensive and it does sound pretty good overall. Paired with a 2000 watt amp aswell. I was like wow this is small when I opened the package from Amazon. I have to say this blows everything out of the water available at your local retailer. I am running this on a 600 watt rms alpine amp I had after blowing the 10 inch halo it came with. There are formulas that would suggest my set up is out of balance. I have 4 sets of 6.5 components by ct sounds running off of a 1000 watt rms 4 channel amp. After purchasing this sub my system sounds very well balanced. She bumps. With a little bit of tuning it sounds good and clean definitely great for a little 10” sub. Mines sounds great and its all tuned by ear. Running off of ct700.1. Doesnt get hot at all after playing for 1-2 hours everyday. For sure break in your sub or dont up to u but i did just to play it safe for about a week. ... show more
